NASCAR driver Kyle Busch recently visited the Oklahoma aquarium with his family, including his wife Samantha and their two children. The two-time Cup Series champion has been competing in dirt races during the NASCAR off-season at the Tulsa Shootout in Oklahoma with his nine-year-old son, Brexton.
In a series of Instagram stories posts, Samantha shared pictures of her family at the aquarium in Jenks that houses the world's largest exhibit of bull sharks. Her daughter, Lennix could be seen posing behind a sculpture of a hammerhead shark in the below photo.
The father and son duo are competing in the Tulsa Shootout which began on December 31 and will run through this Saturday. Samantha also shared a picture of them eating ice cream and watching a race on a phone.
"Ice cream and racing," Samantha wrote.
Meanwhile, Busch, who had a disappointing NASCAR season last year, started the year with wins at the Tulsa Shootout. The 39-year-old could not extend his streak of 19 straight years of winning at least one Cup race each season and also missed the playoffs in 2024.
This week, however, he won the 600cc Winged Micro Sprint event and the previous two heat races in his No. 51 car.
"I’ll tell you what man these outlaw cars are so much fun because they have so much power in them. The Lucas Oil with that alignment motor is a great combination, it was really really ripping that high side. So loved it, all is good right now, feels good, want to tune in onto the car a little bit more and be ready for qualifiers when it comes," Kyle Busch said (via The Express).
The Richard Childress Racing driver first competed in the Tulsa Shootout in 2021 and Brexton followed the following year.
"The man that’s my best friend" - Kyle Busch's wife Samantha on their 14th wedding anniversary
Kyle Busch and Samantha started dating in 2008 and got married two years later in December. Samantha posted a message for their 14th anniversary this New Year's Eve on Instagram and wrote:
"I loved you then, I love you still, I’ll love you forever. To the man that’s my best friend, always has my back (like getting food out of my teeth in VL), the father who is always there for our kids and the one who after all these years still puts a smile on my face. Happy Anniversary."
Kyle Busch will also make his Chili Bowl Nationals debut later this month with Brexton.
