Leah Pruett, the accomplished NHRA Top Fuel Division driver and wife of three-time NASCAR Cup Series champion Tony Stewart, treated fans to a glimpse of her trip to the 2025 Havasu Balloon Festival in Lake Havasu City, Arizona, on social media. Accompanied by her newborn son, Dominic James; her mother; and her grandmother, Pruett captured the vibrant atmosphere of the hot air balloon festival.

Tony Stewart’s wife Pruett is a two-time NHRA world champion and currently on a break from racing to focus on motherhood, as she continues to spend more time with her newborn son.

Leah Pruett took to Instagram to share her excitement, posting stories and videos of the vibrant hot air balloon festival.

In one of the Instagram stories, Pruett shared a heartfelt moment as she surprised her mom and grandma with a unique Christmas gift — a hot air balloon ride at a mass ascension event during the 2025 Havasu Balloon Festival.

Pruett said:

“So I have just dropped my mom and my grandma off at the mass ascension. Part one is taking place as you can see behind me, and the balloon they’ll be flying in is this one. So we’ll be on the lookout for Dixie! This was my Christmas gift to my mom and grandma, getting them in a hot air balloon! Huge thanks to the hot air balloon festival for putting on such a great show. Let’s see if we can spot more balloons.”

Tony Stewart and Pruett tied the knot in November 2021, eight months after announcing their engagement in March. The couple met through their shared interest in racing and have been supportive of each other at racing events.

Tony Stewart’s wife Leah reveals priorities for 2025, dropping racing plans

In an interview with “Behind The Catch Fence,” Leah Pruett revealed why she's not returning to NHRA this season, as she values being fully present with her newborn son, recognizing that time moves fast, and soon her baby will grow into a talking, independent individual.

Pruett said:

“I'm not letting that take any moment away from being with this baby. Literally, you know, his face is changing every day, and he's growing every day. Our phones now have hundreds of photos on them and videos of just pure baby nothingness. I'm just making sure we capture it. I keep it right here, keep it in my heart, because he's going to be walking, talking, and talking back to Tony sooner than we can imagine...I'm having the best time of my life.”

Leah, who started racing in 2013, earned her first Top Fuel victory in 2016 at the NHRA Arizona Nationals, defeating Brittany Force in the final round.

As his wife is busy with motherhood duties, Tony Stewart will again take over the driving duties for the NHRA Top Fuel category at Tony Stewart Racing.
