Kyle Busch's wife, Samantha Busch, shared a glimpse of the family's Italian getaway on their first pit-stop in Rome. On their first trip to Italy, the RCR driver and his family are on a two-week hiatus before NASCAR resumes its high-octane racing season.
Samantha Busch married the two-time Cup Series champion on December 31, 2010, in Chicago. The couple are parents to two kids, Brexton, born on May 18, 2015, and Lennix, born on May 10, 2022.
Following the crown jewel race at Indianapolis Motor Speedway, Busch's family, including Samantha's parents, took off for a two-week vacation on their bucket list trip to Italy. Samantha, who is very active on social media and has more than 245,000 followers on Instagram, shared the family's visit to the ancient monument of Rome, the Colosseum.
Here's a photo of the Busch couple along with Brexton. Their nine-year-old son is also a budding racer, competing in Bandoleros, Junior Sprints, Restricted Motors, and Outlaw Karts.
The Richard Childress Racing driver and his family visited the 1944-year-old monumental attraction and one of the largest amphitheater, the Colosseum. It was mostly famous for the Roman gladiatorial games and was intended to be an entertainment place.
Meanwhile, Samantha stunned on the streets of the capital city of Italy in a rose-red dress paired with white sneakers. It is one of the chic outfits she packed for her Italian getaway.
Samantha also shared a photo of the family on the European vacation. The Busch family was in front of the iconic marble structure called the Trevi Fountain. It is situated on an ancient water source and at the junction of three streets.
Here's a post shared by Samantha Busch on her Instagram handle from their first stop in Italy:
"When in Rome 🇮🇹 part uno. #italy #vacation #familytrip #rome," Samantha wrote.
Before teams and drivers entered the NASCAR break, #8 Kyle Busch was on a 43-race winless streak. A vacation to Italy seems like a much-needed getaway after an underwhelming 2024 NASCAR Cup Series season.
"Really need it" - Kyle Busch amidst a disappointing 2024 season
NASCAR veteran Kyle Busch is on the worst stretch of his career. He is on the brink of not qualifying for the playoffs for the first time in his Cup Series career.
After a P25 finish at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway, the Las Vegas native shared his thoughts on X (formerly Twitter). He wrote:
"Got right where we wanted to be with a good car and some really good pit calls. I’m really sorry to all my guys and RCR for crashing while trying to be aggressive and get them a top 5 finish. Ready for this two week break. Really need it."
NASCAR will resume racing at the Cook Out 400 event at Richmond Raceway. Before the break, #8 Kyle Busch was 112 points below the playoff cutline. So far, he has amassed two top-5s and six top-10 finishes in 22 starts.
