In Pictures: NASCAR champion Ryan Blaney gets victory kiss on the cheek by Gianna Tulio during Pocono win celebrations

Reigning NASCAR Cup Series champion Ryan Blaney emerged victorious in last Sunday's race at Pocono Raceway. As Blaney posed with the winner's trophy, his fiancee, Gianna Tulio, held his face and planted a kiss on his cheek, congratulating him on his second win of the season.

Blaney led a race-high 44 laps and held off Joe Gibbs Racing driver Denny Hamlin, who is a seven-time winner at Pocono, by 1.312 seconds, en route to the 12th win of his career and his second at the 2.5-mile racetrack in Long Pond, Pennsylvania. Blaney's first win of 2024 came at the inaugural Cup Series race at Iowa Speedway.

Overjoyed at Ryan Blaney's repeat victory at Pocono Raceway, where the American recorded his first Cup Series win, Tulio, a professional model and a Hooters Hall of Fame inductee, took to Instagram and posted a few post-race snaps. The first photo was the one where she kissed Blaney.

"Yesterday was special. Im so grateful my family was there for it ✨🍾🏁," Tulio captioned the post.

Tulio is a big name in the world of beauty pageantry. She won the prestigious Miss Hooters title in 2021. The same year, she received the "Most Photogenic" award as well. Tulio has 95.6k followers on Instagram as of writing.

Gianna Tulio and Ryan Blaney started dating in 2020. Blaney popped the big question on December 12, 2023, to which Tulio said yes. The couple has not formally announced a date for their wedding yet. However, Tulio reposted a story originally uploaded by one of her acquaintances that let slip a probable date.

Ryan Blaney reveals his strategy for planning a successful wedding

After Ryan Blaney won his first Cup Series championship last year, he decided to keep the celebration going by proposing to his girlfriend (now fiancee) Gianna Tulio. However, the Team Penske star wasn't aware that Tulio would start planning for their wedding just the day after.

Thankfully, the biggest challenge, which is deciding on the venue, has been taken care of. Still, planning an entire wedding is indeed difficult and time-consuming. However, Ryan Blaney has a simple formula: agree with whatever the future wife says.

In an earlier interview with renowned journalist Bob Pockrass, Blaney said:

"I try to just give her the reigns on everything, just do it you’ve got full control of this, but she wants to include me in a lot of it, which is like alright, that’s fine. But I usually just agree with her."

"She’ll be like ‘What do you think about this?’ and then I’ll just ask her ‘Well, what do you think?’ and then I’ll just agree with whatever she says," Blaney laughed.

Blaney is one of the five drivers to have multiple wins this season. Therefore, he does have a solid chance to win another back-to-back Cup Series championship. Currently, Blaney stands seventh in the Cup Series standings with 627 points to his name. His next race is on July 21 at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway.
