Tony Stewart and Leah Pruett, who welcomed their firstborn, Dominic James Stewart last week, recently shared their family pictures. The three-time NASCAR Cup Series champion got married to Pruett three years ago and their son was born on November 17th in Phoenix.

Pruett posted the Stewart family picture on Instagram where she can be seen holding baby Dominic in front of a lighthouse, with Tony and their dog beside them.

"Our Wild Wild West," Pruett wrote.

Pruett gave up racing this season and Stewart took her place in the National Hot Rod Association (NHRA) Top Fuel division. The 36-year-old is a 12-time Top Fuel National race winner and ended the 2023 season third in points, a career-best finish.

Stewart praised Pruett for her hard work and said:

“She has literally, the whole season, moved us into a new house, a second trip got the baby room done. Got travel stuff ready to go for when we’re traveling to the races on the weekends. She has worked her a** off for this child and for us as a family. She’s done that and done all the hard work. In the meantime, I’ve been out racing and having fun doing what I do."

Stewart, who met Pruett in 2020, got engaged the next year in March and married in November 2021 in Mexico.

"Giving birth was the most exhausting thing" - Leah Pruett on welcoming first child

Leah Pruett previously shared the busy story of having her son on race day morning. Stewart was in Pomona for qualifying while Pruett was at a Phoenix hospital. However, Stewart arrived just in time for the birth and had to fly back 275 miles to Pomona for the NHRA Finals.

Pruett talked about giving birth in a social media post and wrote:

"Smoke Daddy was able to fly back in time for first round of Eliminations, and we had a solid semi final finish to the race season. We are so happy with hearts so full. Thank you everyone for the love texts these past couple days. Giving birth was the most exhausting thing my body and mind has ever experienced. Can’t wait to recover with my lil family."
"Eventful World Finals wknd for the Stewart Household to say the least. At 4:43am Raceday morning we welcomed our baby boy Dominic James Stewart (Dom) into this world," she added.

Stewart completed the 2024 season with a ninth-place finish and received the 2024 NHRA Rookie of the Year in the drag racing series. He also set a personal best time of 3.688 seconds at 334.73 mph during the In-N-Out Burger NHRA Finals last Sunday.
