Tony Stewart made himself an illustrious career in racing with three Cup Series championships and 49 race wins in a little over 18 years. Along with that, working together with Gene Haas to form Stewart-Haas Racing was another important feat that he achieved, allowing more drivers to step into the sport.
All this hard work in racing helped Stewart amass a $90-million fortune (net worth according to Celebrity Net Worth). This includes a grand 400-acre cabin in Columbus, Indiana, a grand car collection, and his investments in racing. So let's take a look into the luxurious lifestyle of Stewart-Haas Racing's co-owner:
Tony Stewart's $22.5 million Indiana Ranch
This Hidden Hollow Ranch has been built over a 415-acre area which also includes a 9-acre private lake for fishing and boating, and a large outdoor area with deer, turkeys, and elk. Apart from this, the other features of his ranch are quite jaw-dropping. The property covers around 19,700 square feet and is equipped with six bedrooms, eight bathrooms, and eight half-baths, according to Autoweek.
It also has a small koi stream accompanied by a bridge at the entrance, a two-story indoor waterfall, and an 8,700-gallon freshwater aquarium. The kitchens are furnished with Hickory cabinets, a Hibachi grill, and commercial exhausts. The ring from a navel battleship adds to the decorative interiors.
Stewart has built up a one-of-a-kind helmet collection on the ranch. The property includes its own bowling alley too. It was put up on sale earlier.
Stewart's car collection featuring the #2 IndyCar from 1997
Back in 1997, Stewart took part in the IndyCar 500 with Team Menard. He won his only IndyCar championship that season. The #2 car that he ran in that season is a prominent edition of his immense car collection.
The collection further includes his Cup Series championship-winning cars from 2002, 2005, and 2011. Along with that, Stewart has kept his #20 from Joe Gibbs Racing, which drove him to victory on multiple instances.
A prominent piece of his collection is the 1980 Pontiac Trans Am. Another road-legal car in his collection is a Chevrolet Camaro and a 2014 Stingray.
In an interview in 2020, Stewart had given viewers a brief look at his car collection.
Investments in Racing
The three-time Cup Series champion has left his mark off the track with ownership of various racing teams. Stewart-Haas Racing remains the most obvious one. Gene Haas gave him 50% ownership in Haas CNC Racing, while Stewart continued racing for them. The team remained in competition for a long time and also won the championship with Kevin Harvick in 2014. However, they announced earlier this season that they would cease their Cup Series operations at the end of 2024.
Stewart also owned an IRL team between 1999 and 2001 called Tri Star Motorsports. "Tony Stewart Racing" is another one of his investments. He won USAC owner titles in 2002, 2003, 2004, 2005, 2010, and 2011 with multiple drivers in the Silver Crown division.
