Hendrick Motorsports driver Chase Elliott is not the most popular NASCAR Cup Series driver on social media. Richard Childress Racing driver Kyle Busch takes the crown with a tiny margin over Elliott's fans on major social media platforms.

Recently, a NASCAR reporter shared the combined follower count of the top ten Cup Series drivers on X, Facebook, and Instagram. Despite winning the NASCAR Cup Most Popular Driver Award for the seventh time on November 22, 2024, Elliott fell one spot short of topping the list.

Kyle Busch sits on the top of the list with 2,018,300 combined followers on the three platforms. He has 987,900 followers on X, 435,100 on Instagram, and 595,300 on Facebook. On the other hand, Chase Elliott has 1,924,600 followers on his three social media handles. He has 930,500 followers on X, 492,000 on Instagram, and 502,100 on Facebook. Busch leads the list with almost 94,000 followers.

Kyle Larson was next in line with 1,322,800 followers, followed by Denny Hamlin's 1,271,900 orange and purple army. Brad Keselowski, the co-owner of RFK Racing, was fifth on the list with 1,158,400 followers, and the three-time NASCAR Cup Series champion, Joey Logano, was placed sixth with his 1,135,400 followers on his social media platforms.

Chase Elliott recently turned 29 and inked a new deal with his primary sponsor for the 2025 season.

Hendrick Motorsports driver Chase Elliott turned 29 on November 28, 2024, and his $3 billion worth (via Forbes) primary sponsor, UniFirst Corp., revealed they would sponsor him for the next Cup Series season.

UniFirst is headquartered in Wilmington, Massachusetts, United States of America, and is a leading uniform rental company with businesses across the USA, Canada, and Europe. With over 260 facilities spread across the three countries, the brand also sells protective and workwear clothing.

UniFirst sponsored Chase Elliott for the first time during the 2020 Cup Series season. Soon they extended their sponsorship from three races to five in 2024. For the 2025 season, the uniform rental company introduced a new livery matching the color of their brand logo.

UniFirst will sponsor Elliott's #9 Chevy Camaro ZL1 at the Homestead-Miami Speedway race on March 3, 2025, followed by Darlington Raceway on April 6, 2025. After a one-month break, the sponsor will return during the Michigan International Speedway race on June 8, 2025. Then on August 16, 2025, the sponsor will feature at the Richmond Raceway and conclude the season with the Charlotte Roval race on October 5, 2025.

The 2020 Cup Series champion finished the season in seventh place in the points table. He scored one win, 19 top-ten finishes, and 11 top-five finishes, followed by two unfortunate DNFs and no pole positions in his 36 starts.
