The drivers of the NASCAR Cup Series are scheduled to be at the 0.75-mile-short D-shaped track on Sunday, August 11, as the action at the season’s 23rd racing weekend continues at the Richmond Raceway.

In Saturday’s (August 10) Cup Series qualifying, Denny Hamlin won his third NASCAR Cup Series pole of the season to lead the 37-driver field to the green flag at Richmond. The Cook Out 400 is scheduled to begin on Sunday at 6 pm ET.

The driver of the #17 Ford for RFK Racing, Chris Buescher, who won this event last year, will look to win again this weekend.

The weather forecast for Sunday at Richmond is sunny skies with a high temperature of 82 degrees Fahrenheit and a two percent chance of rain at the time of Cook Out 400.
