Joey Logano received staunch criticism from an analyst following his Cup Series triumph at Phoenix. The Team Penske driver held off his teammate Joey Logano to claim this season's title. However, his victory did not go unnoticed as an analyst slammed his 2024 statistics.

Logano has been one of the best drivers of the current Cup Series season. Even though he had a full start to 2024, he made brilliant comebacks in the latter half of the season, where he notched three victories. With the latest victory at Phoenix, he made it four, the second most this year after Kyle Larson.

However, the analyst at Auto Racing Analytics wasn't impressed. Following the completion of the race, he compiled Logano's 2024 Cup Series statistics, and posted on X. Here's what he wrote,

"Statistically, the... 10th fastest, 22nd best re-starter, 31st most efficient passer, Is the champion. Congrats Joey Logano on a fantastic season and rising to the occasion. They were the best by the system. Is this what you want to see?"

Besides four victories, Logano also claimed three pole positions, has an average start position above 10th, and an average finish position above 15th. With these, he also raked in seven Top 5s, and 13 Top 10s.

Following his emphatic victory at Phoenix Raceway on Sunday, Logano termed his team "the best" in the competition. The Team Penske driver fought it out against his teammate Ryan Blaney till the end, and it was an absolute Team Penske show at Phoenix.

"I love the playoffs. What a race. What a Team Penske battle there at the end. This is special. What a team to fight through the day. I got the best team. We are well rounded and can make things happen when it matters," Logano said.

Logano claimed the Stage 1 victory, and Blaney followed suit in Stage 2. Ultimately, the two Team Penske drivers finished the race in 1-2 and brought the owner's championship to Roger Penske.
