Tyler Reddick shared his views on Kyle Larson and his Hendrick Motorsport team's strong performances as the NASCAR Cup Series playoffs head into the Round of 8.

Larson is currently leading the playoff standings with six wins and a 33-point advantage over other drivers ahead of the Las Vegas race this Sunday. The No. 5 Chevrolet driver has led an impressive 1676 laps till now.

In a conversation with Fox Sports' Bob Pockrass, 23XI Racing's Tyler Reddick talked about the competition in the playoffs.

"I think it’s so hard to predict in a one-race format, but certainly the way the 5 has performed, the 24 has performed, and the 20, they have been doing a really good job. Yeah, you would expect those three to find their way, and I think it’s on the other five of us to put together a solid round." said Reddick.

Kyle Larson’s team set itself up for success during qualifying for the South Point 400 at Las Vegas Motor Speedway. Three of the four Hendrick Motorsports drivers placed in the top 10. Alex Bowman earned third place with a lap of 29.195 seconds, while Larson qualified fifth and William Byron took ninth.

"Unexpected things can take place but we'll just focus on what we do for our team," he added.

Reddick's No. 45 qualified second with a lap speed of 185.261mph in 29.148 seconds.

"Going to be an ultra-competitive round just like every time" - Kyle Larson on the upcoming Round of 8

Kyle Larson looks to be a strong contender for the Championship 4. The 32-year-old has won the last two races at Las Vegas Motor Speedway. He won both stages and led a race-high 133 of 267 laps in the playoff race at the track in 2023.

Ahead of this weekend's race, Larson talked about the competitive Round of 8 with many strong drivers and teams.

"There’s a lot of wins and championships, and all that currently in the Round of 8. So yeah, it’s a tough group of teams and drivers. The cream has risen, and I think it’s going to be an ultra-competitive round just like every time, and it comes down to the final few laps at Martinsville," Larson said (via NASCAR).

Kyle Larson also won last week’s race at Charlotte. Unfortunately, teammate Alex Bowman was disqualified after that race. Larson and three other Chevy teammates are still in the running.

The following two races of the Round of 8 will be at Homestead-Miami Speedway and Martinsville Speedway. The final race of the season will be at the Phoenix Raceway where four drivers will race for the 2024 title.
