Malcolm in the Middle star Frankie Muniz's wife Paige Muniz recently addressed rumors about their supposed "secret divorce." She put an end to the ongoing speculation, explaining that despite their different personalities and lifestyles, they are very much together.
After three years of dating, Frankie and Paige Muniz tied the knot in a private ceremony in October 2019. The couple recently celebrated their fifth wedding anniversary. Following their anniversary post on Instagram, she received several comments from followers questioning why they never travel together, whether their son was being split between them, and speculating if they were secretly divorced and living separately.
Concerns arose due to the lack of public appearances and social media content featuring both partners and their three-year-old son Mauz. Addressing the speculation in a detailed Instagram story, Paige Muniz explained that they embrace their different lifestyles and are "incredibly" supportive of each other. She highlighted their differing interests, noting that she enjoys traveling and exploring the world, while her husband prefers focusing on work and NASCAR.
"I get this question a lot, and especially lately since we announced our 5 year wedding anniversary. I always delete the comments because it makes me uneasy that people say weird stuff like this..." she wrote on her Instagram stories.
"Frankie and I live very different lives and lifestyles. We are huge supporters of each others wishes and dreams, we NEVER tell one another that they can't do something... Ever... and we look out for one another when it comes to business. We are incredible business partners. I wish I could underline the word incredible to really emphasize it..."
"I crave traveling the world, learning about different cultures, reading and listening to books 24/7, and taking photos. My husband craves working, philanthropic things, all the stuff dealing with cars + racing them, and electricial house work (😘) Our intellect and personalities combine are a great balance of INFJ and ISTJ."
The Hollywood actor turned NASCAR driver's wife further mentioned that six years into their 8-year relationship, she realized she didn't have to live in the shadow of her husband. She emphasized that they are now happier than ever, and their relationship is stronger than it has ever been.
"It's ok to be married to someone and have completely different personalities. It took me 6 of our 8 years to realize that I don't have to live in his shadow and follow him around everywhere he goes."
"It's just our lives. It might not make sense to a lot of people, but we're only getting happier by realizing we can just be ourselves. We don't have to force our desires on each other just because we're married. We just have to show up for one another and have each others back."

Frankie Muniz's wife clears the air about splitting time with their son
Frankie Muniz and his wife Paige welcomed their son, Mauz Mosley Muniz, in March 2021. In her recent statement, Paige also clarified that their son is not splitting time between them, further dispelling any concerns about their marriage.
Paige explained that their son travels with whomever he chooses to spend time with, and they don’t “split” his time. She also shared that he recently accompanied his father on an apple-picking adventure and enjoyed some time hanging out with his grandma.
"Our son goes with whoever he wants to go with. We don't "split" him. Sometimes, like right now... he couldn't come with me so he went with zaddy to go pick apples at a apple harvest festival. Which, he is having a freaking blast at - signing his own autographs, riding in police cars, dancing his booty off, and hanging with grandma! He'd be bored out of his mind if he were with me right now," an excerpt in her statement read.
Following his rookie ARCA season last year, Frankie Muniz continues to travel across the states for his part-time schedule in the Xfinity, Trucks, and ARCA series. He was most recently present at Kansas Speedway and was classified 29th in the Truck race.
