Chase Briscoe recently shared a funny moment on social media on December 24, joking about his poor gift-wrapping skills. The NASCAR driver laughed at his own expense, describing his wrapping abilities as “so bad” that it became humorous.

As we go deeper into the season of giving, the former SHR driver was wrapping up a gift, however, his attempt to wrap the gift went so wrong that Briscoe had to share the comical moment with his fans on X. Sharing a picture of the gift, he wrote:

"I think I shoulda left this to the professionals at the mall… I’m so bad at this it’s actually comical 😂"

Briscoe drove the #14 Ford for Stewart Haas Racing until the team closed at the end of the 2024 season. Over his five-year NASCAR career, the Indiana native won 15 races across the top three divisions, with his most recent victory at the 2024 Cook Out Southern 500 at Darlington Raceway.

Chase Briscoe secured his spot in the 2024 NASCAR playoffs with a clutch win at Darlington Raceway, standing as the sole Stewart-Haas Racing (SHR) driver in the postseason. Despite hopes of delivering SHR a title-worthy farewell, Briscoe's championship pursuit ended in the Round of 12, concluding an admirable campaign.

Following Stewart-Haas Racing’s (SHR) announcement of their exit from NASCAR, Joe Gibbs Racing faced another shift as Martin Truex Jr. declared his retirement from full-time racing after the 2024 season. This opened a seat at JGR, which Chase Briscoe filled with a multi-year deal beginning in the 2025 season, ensuring his NASCAR journey continues.

"If you don't perform, there's no excuses" - Chase Briscoe makes his feelings known on 'pressure' at Joe Gibbs Racing

Chase Briscoe's move to Joe Gibbs Racing comes with its own set of challenges. The stakes are higher and the competition is tougher. However, Briscoe has proved his mettle on the track, which assured his seat in Martin Truex Jr.'s car, the #19 Toyota Camry XSE.

Recently, Briscoe shared his thoughts on moving to JGR, and shed light on his initial experience with the team. Although he claims that he 'loves the pressure', On November 22, just hours before the 2024 NASCAR Awards banquet, the JGR driver said:

"I love the pressure side, but I do think this is probably the most pressure I’ve ever been (under) in my life, as far as professionally," Briscoe said via NASCAR.

He added:

"It’s weird because there’s been other times where my career was literally gonna be over, right? But I feel like this is one of those opportunities where if you don’t perform, like, there’s no excuses. Like, you have to perform at JGR. So from that standpoint, it is different because everywhere else, there’s really not been that expectation."

Meanwhile, the Cup Series is set to return on February 2, for the Clash at Bowman Gray Stadium. Catch Briscoe in action along with his new teammates Denny Hamlin, Ty Gibbs, and Christopher Bell at 8:00 PM ET.
