"It's now a permanent fixture in our family" - Denny Hamlin's heartwarming story of fiancée Jordan's decision to keep puppy Lulu

NASCAR veteran Denny Hamlin recently shared a story that led to the official welcome of a four-legged member into the Hamlin family. Hamlin's fiancee, Jordan Fish, and their two daughters adopted a lost puppy during their trip to Gateway Arch in Missouri last month.

Jordan Fish and Denny Hamlin are parents to two daughters, Taylor the eldest, and Molly. The couple have known each other for over a decade and have been in a relationship since 2009. However, they went their separate ways for a brief period in 2021. But came back together the next year. Hamlin and Fish also announced their engagement earlier in January this year.

In a recent episode of the Actions Detrimental with Denny Hamlin podcast, the Florida native Hamlin shared a heartwarming story of how his fiancee, Jordan, officially included their new puppy, 'Lulu River Hamlin' in their family. Hamlin said:

"Yes, the girls named her. Yeah, I guess it was official and it became official when Jordan brought in a basket, looked like an Easter Bunny basket, full of dog toys, food, and a collar with her name on it. And I said, well, what is this? She's like, we're keeping the puppy. I said, okay, I don't, guess I have a say here, do I?

"But I can't complain because she gets up and takes the puppy out in the morning. So they've demonstrated they're willing to take the puppy out, take care of it enough. Yes, it's now a permanent fixture in our family."

When did Denny Hamlin and his family meet Lulu for the first time?

Fish, in her Instagram story, claimed that a park ranger found 'Lulu' near the Mississippi River that passes by the Gateway Arch. According to Fish, the park ranger couldn't take the puppy to the pound as it was a Saturday. Thereafter, Fish and Hamlin's daughters decided to keep the puppy and Lulu became the fifth member of the Hamlin family.
