“We are beyond proud”: Samantha Busch shared a heartwarming moment after her son's big win at the Tulsa Shootout
Brexton Busch, the son of the 2009 Xfinity Series champion Kyle Busch, made strides with his major win at the Tulsa Shootout. He dominated the final caution-heavy race and secured his first Golden Driller title. Samantha Busch celebrated her son's win by sharing a heartwarming note.
Mrs. Busch uploaded a reel on her Instagram on January 5, 2025, as the couple celebrated their son's achievement at the SageNet Center in Tulsa, Oklahoma. In the reel, the interviewer questioned Kyle and Samantha Busch about their son's remarkable performance in the series.
“Oh my god! I was crying.. I'm so proud of him. He's worked at this all year. He was so upset last year. Literally every race he went to this year, he's like, ‘I'm doing it for Tulsa, I'm doing it for the driller and he did it,” said Samantha.
The proud parents shared appreciation for Brixton's title win and captioned the post:
“It's one thing to accomplish something yourself but the amount of joy, excitement, and pride that you feel when it's your child is another level. We are beyond proud of you Brexton you have worked so hard and we will always be your biggest supporters #family #proud #proudparents”
Apart from winning the Golden Driller title at the Tulsa Shootout, the driver of the #18 Servpro-sponsored car earned his qualification for the Junior Sprints A-Mains race.
