"Malcolm in the Middle" star, Frankie Muniz, is now a racer in NASCAR's top-tier racing series. The former Emmy award nominee appeared in a recent Dirty Mo Media podcast and revealed how NASCAR was different from Hollywood.

Muniz currently competes part-time in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series driving the No.22 Ford F-150 for Reaume Brothers Racing and part-time in the Xfinity Series as well, driving the No. 35 machine for Joey Gase Motorsports. He was a full-time contender in the ARCA Menards Series last year, finishing the season fourth on points with one top-5 and 11 top-10 finishes.

According to Muniz, one can weigh one's abilities with more accuracy in NASCAR than in Hollywood. The "leaderboard" or point standings, explained Muniz, is what does the job for him.

"The one amazing thing about that I love, definitely compared to being an actor, is it's not subjective," Frankie Muniz said. "I can think I did a great job in the movie and think I did a good job acting, I put my soul into a character and people see that and they were like meh, it was okay."
"(In NASCAR) if you're good and you belong, you're at the top of the leaderboard. At least (you) can see where you stand. I love that," he added.

Frankie Muniz recently landed a full-time Truck Series deal. He will be wheeling the No. 33 full-time for Reaume Brothers Racing throughout 2025. Needless to say, the 38-year-old, actor-turned-racer is excited for the opportunity.

"I've literally dedicated my life to this"-Frankie Muniz elated at upcoming Truck Series venture

Frankie Muniz spoke to The People about his 2025 deal with Reaume Brothers Racing. The "Agent Cody" actor said that it has been everything that he had ever wanted over the past two decades of racing.

"I want people to know that I've literally dedicated my life to this," Muniz exclaimed (via ESPN) "You know what I mean? I love it. When I'm not in the race car, I'm thinking about being in the race car. I'm training, I'm in the simulator at Ford. I'm going to just be as prepared as humanly possible."
"We're thrilled to welcome Frankie to our team full-time and to expand our relationship with Ford Performance," team owner Josh Reaume said after signing Frankie Muniz. "Their support has been invaluable, and we believe that with Frankie's passion and our collective momentum from this year, we can make significant strides in the upcoming season."

Frankie Muniz competed in two Xfinity Series races and two Truck Series races this year. He will run this coming week's Truck Series race at Homestead-Miami Speedway. Fans can watch Muniz in action on FS1 or listen to radio updates on MRN and SiriusXM NASCAR Radio (12 PM ET onwards).
