Former NASCAR and IndyCar driver Danica Patrick recently opened up about her involvement in Donald Trump’s political campaigns. Patrick accompanied the Republican Party presidential candidate for the latter half of his campaigning this year.

Danica Patrick transitioned to NASCAR in 2010 following a successful stint in the IndyCar Series. During her seven-year NASCAR career, she competed in 191 Cup Series races with Stewart-Haas Racing, achieving seven top-10 finishes. Her most notable performance came in the 2013 Daytona 500, where she finished eighth and made history as the first woman to lead laps in the iconic race.

Following President Donald Trump's victory in the election, Patrick was called on The Right View Show hosted by Lara Trump, who is married to the elect-president's third child, Eric Trump. On the show, the former motorsports athlete expressed her views on being a part of President Trump's triumphant election campaign.

"That night just standing in the crowd, you know, after all the swing states kept going red, and you're like, wow, and once Pennsylvania came through, you're like, 'Oh my God, it's really happening.'[...] It's been a long time since I just like volunteered so much time out of passion and out of a calling. I guess it's been a while since there's been a calling. And that's kind of what it was. It was a very, it was a very unforced process for me that began at AmFest in the end of 2023," Patrick said [00:58 onwards]

She added:

"It was just such a blessing to be on that last phase of it. That last sort of four or five days with Tulsi(Gabbard)nand yourself, and the man himself Donald Trump. So I'll never forget flying home on Trump Force One sitting next to him hanging out being like, 'How did I get here? This is so wild.'" [02:38]

NASCAR's very own Danica Patrick has been very vocal about her support for Donald Trump, especially in the last phase of campaigning before election day. She was also given the honor of becoming the guest moderator for Vice Presidential Nominee Senator JD Vance’s Town Hall in Greensboro, North Carolina.

"This photo at 3:25 AM": Danica Patrick shared a snapshot with Donald Trump inside his private plane

Danica Patrick shared a photo on social media with Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump aboard his private plane. A consistent supporter of the Republican Party (GOP), Patrick had accompanied Trump and his team to a rally in Michigan.

On the return trip, she posted the picture and captioned it with her thoughts on the experience.

"Rally ended in Michigan at 230am. This photo at 325am. Landed in west palm on TF1 at 545am. Got to sleep at 645am. Brekkie at 1058am. Energy brought to you by a proud American. Vote like your freedom depends on it, because it does." she wrote on

Donald Trump was re-elected as the 47th President of the United States of America after defeating current Vice President Kamala Harris.
