JR Motorsports members had a blast at the NASCAR Awards Banquet as Justin Allgaier won the Xfinity Series championship. One of them was Brandt owner Sierra-Shae Brandt who joined the celebration and even took pictures with NBA legend Shaquille O'Neal.

Brandt is a title sponsor of the No. 7 JR Motorsports Chevrolet Camaro. Brandt is an agriculture company led by CEO and president Rick Brandt along with his daughter Sierra-Shae, who became an owner in December 2019. Her area of focus is sports marketing platforms, including sponsorships with JR Motorsports and the Tampa Bay Lightning NHL team.

Sierra-Shae Brandt took to X (formerly Twitter) and shared photos with Allgaier and the 2024 Xfinity Series championship trophy at the Charlotte Convention Center in Charlotte, North Carolina.

"NASCAR Championship Awards Banquet," she wrote.

The Brandt owner also posted photos with former Los Angeles Lakers star Shaquille O'Neal, who arrived at the party as DJ Diesel.

"Oh yeah, and @SHAQ was there too."

Justin Allgaier won his first Xfinity Series championship after finishing ahead of the Championship 4 contenders at Phoenix Raceway. He started 37th before climbing his way up to second, with non-championship contender Riey Herbst winning the race.

The rest of the Championship 4 finishers were Cole Custer in eighth, AJ Allmendinger in ninth, and Austin Hill in 10th.

The 2024 Xfinity Series championship was also added to JR Motorsports' owner Dale Earnhardt Jr.'s trophy case. He earned two championships as a driver in 1998 and 1999, while the rest were won as an owner of JR Motorsports in 2014, 2017, 2018, and 2024.

In addition, Dale Jr. won two Xfinity Series championships with Chance 2 Motorsports in 2004 and 2005 as a co-owner along with his stepmother, Teresa Earnhardt.

Justin Allgaier pointed out a drawback of NASCAR's championship ring during the Awards Banquet

During an interview on the red carpet of the NASCAR Awards Banquet, Justin Allgaier had one negative thing to say about his championship ring. While the No.7 Chevy driver found the ring "really, really cool", he pointed out its bad fitting on his finger.

Allgaier said:

“It's really really cool. It's got my number on one side of it (and) it's got my actual race car on the other side of it. The only negative is it doesn't come on and off my finger. We actually got the ring sizer stuck on my finger in Victory Lane in Phoenix.”

When NASCAR's Alex Weaver suggested that perhaps the 38-year-old driver was swollen up from celebrating the championship, he replied:

“I had shoulder surgery a week ago… yesterday... and maybe I’m just going with it. Maybe I'm just still a little swollen from the surgery. It doesn't fit right now but it'll be okay."

Aside from the NASCAR Xfinity Series championship, Justin Allgaier received the Most Popular Driver award in his respective series. Chase Elliott and Rajah Caruth won the award in the Cup Series and Truck Series, respectively.
