Ryan Blaney and Gianna Tulio began dating in 2020, sharing their journey through social media and earning admiration from NASCAR fans. On December 12, 2023, shortly after Blaney’s first Cup Series championship, he proposed in the picturesque winter landscape of Leavenworth, Washington.

Exactly a year later, the couple exchanged vows in a glamorous "Winter Enchantment: A Candlelit Aspen Affair" themed wedding at Hotel Jerome in Aspen, Colorado. Recently, Gianna Tulio shared a few snaps from her wedding in Aspen on her Instagram story.

2023 NASCAR Cup Series champion Ryan Blaney, driver of Team Penske’s #12 Ford, is in his seventh full-time season with the team. The Ohio native boasts 13 Cup Series wins, alongside seven Xfinity and four Truck Series victories. Blaney's career highlights include winning the 2022 NASCAR All-Star Race and achieving a major milestone with a Coca-Cola 600 victory during his championship season.

Blaney was one of two Team Penske drivers competing for the 2024 Cup Series title. The #12 driver, who was the defending champion last season, was bested by his Penske teammate Joey Logano, who secured his third overall Cup Series title, and also historically marked Team Penske's third consecutive title in NASCAR's top division.

When Ryan Blaney looked back on awkward proposal to fiancée Gianna D’Tulio

In an interview with Dirty Mo Media in September 2024, NASCAR driver Ryan Blaney humorously recounted his proposal to Gianna Tulio. He admitted that, in his nervousness, he almost forgot to ask her father's permission—a traditional gesture. Blaney recalled realizing this oversight just before boarding a plane, prompting a last-minute call to her father, who jokingly responded before giving his blessing.

Blaney shared:

"You're 99.9% sure they're gonna say yes, no way they're going to say no. My brother-in-law told me this perfectly, he's like 'You're gonna have your whole thing in your head, you're going to have your whole speech, how you're going to say it, where you want to do it. And you'll get on one knee and she's going to turn around and you're going to turn into a bumbling idiot."

"I didn't ask her dad until we were about to get on the plane. So I called him up, I'm like 'Hey, you know I was gonna ask Gianna to marry me, wanted to make sure it was okay with you?' He's like 'Well, you know Ryan, let me think about it for a couple of days.' I was like uh okay and he's like I'm messing with you[...] You have to ask their parents and ask the best friend as well. Gotta make sure the best friend knows everything," he added [0:36] .
