Former NASCAR driver Danica Patrick recently called out Kamala Harris for the US vice president's "flip-flop" stance on the gun buyback program. Patrick blatantly pointed this out as one of Harris' many lies.

Since retiring from the world of motorsports, she has been active on social media with her weekly 'Pretty Intense' podcast and advocating healthy living through Instagram, where she has close to one million followers.
In a recent Instagram post, Patrick shared the Democratic Party's Harris stance on the gun buyback program. Reposting a video of the 2024 presidential candidate, Patrick shared her opinions on the same and said:
"Just one of many lies," the 42-year-old Patrick wrote on her Instagram story.

"I enjoy the challenge" - Danica Patrick on her switch from open-wheel to stock car racing
Before starting her journey in NASCAR's premier division, the Wisconsin native Patrick was considered one of the most successful women in IndyCar Series history. Patrick became the only woman in IndyCar to secure a win at the 2008 Indy Japan 300.
However, transitioning to stock car racing was a completely different challenge for Patrick, which she claimed to enjoy in a 2011 press conference.
"I just really enjoy driving the cars. I enjoy racing the cars. I enjoy the challenge. I like how the car changes over race. I like how the track changes. I like how many pit stops there are and the strategy of pitting for tires at the end or maybe not, keeping track position. There's just a lot of really interesting things I think that make a race. And I like racing them, and that's what my decision really came down to," Patrick said (as quoted by nascarman on X). [0:56]
It is worth mentioning that, Danica Patrick soon became a household name after she started competing in NASCAR. After her brief stint with JR Motorsports in the Xfinity Series, Patrick transitioned to the Cup Series and drove for Stewart-Haas Racing.
In her first full-time season with SHR, Patrick earned a pole position at the esteemed Daytona 500 race and became the only woman to do so. Later on, finished the 'Great American Race' in eighth place, the highest by any woman. Additionally, she has the most top-tens, starts, and laps led in NASCAR's premier division.
Apart from working as a broadcaster since her retirement in 2017, she owns a clothing line, a luxury candle collection, and a wine label.
