Kenny Wallace shared his thoughts on the rush of Christmas festivities. Wallace said the annual festival may allow people to take time off work, but they cannot celebrate outside because the restaurants are always full.
Wallace is a former NASCAR driver with nine wins in the Xfinity Series. The 61-year-old is now a social media personality with programs like Coffee with Kenny and the Herm & Schrader podcast with fellow NASCAR racer Ken Schrader.
On his X account, Wallace took a sarcastic jibe at the odd situation every Christmas day.
"Here we go.. The ole. 'I am off work for Christmas let’s go out and eat and everything is packed and you cannot get into the restaurants' 🥴🥴🥴🥴," Wallace wrote.
Since going out to eat seems to be a bad idea, his fans suggested staying home and cooking instead.
Kenny Wallace has been married to Kim since 1984 four years before his first start in NASCAR driving for Dale Earnhardt Sr.'s Xfinity Series team. The long-time couple share three daughters: Brooke, Brandy and Britanny.
With the 2025 NASCAR season just around the corner, Wallace will hope to get a good rest, especially this holiday season. He will continue covering the stock car racing scene with Ken Schrader via the Herm & Schrader podcast, which began just last November.
As of this writing, the podcast has released six episodes via the Dirty Mo Media.
Outside social media, the Missouri native likes to run his dirt car. He won his 120th dirt race at Lincoln Speedway earlier this year driving the No. 36 car.
Kenny Wallace shared a laugh with Ken Schrader over "Christmas panties" joke
During a recent episode of Herm & Schrader, co-host Ken Schrader told Kenny Wallace a joke about Christmas panties. The joke was about three guys getting pulled over for speeding and asked to show something representing the holiday season.
Schrader told the podcast:
"The officer comes up the door, nobody's drinking, everybody is good. He says, 'Hey, you need to slow down. But each one of you, show me something represents Christmas."
The former NASCAR driver then shared what the first two guys showed the police officer.
"First one pulled his keys out, jiggled his keys, and he said, 'That's jingle bells.' The second one took his phone on, turn on the light on and moving back and forth, he says, 'That's Christmas lights.'"
He continued:
"The driver didn't really think of anything, and he reached over real quick to the glove compartment, and he pulled out a pair of little lady's panties. The officer's like, 'Now what does that have to do with Christmas?' He looked right at him and said, 'They're Carole's.'"
The joke sent Kenny Wallace into a laughter frenzy. It likely refers to the clothing company Carole Hochman sold in US-based retail stores like Walmart and Costco. The company name sounds like carol, a term used for songs associated with Christmas.
