Former Cup Series champion Kevin Harvick and his son Keelan Paul Harvick recently went on a hunting trip and the former gave his verdict on the latter's hunting skills. Since the conclusion of the 2024 NASCAR season at Phoenix on Sunday, November 10, 2024, Harvick has been spending the off-season with his family by taking his son to elk hunting.
Harvick shared some moments from the hunting trip on his X account. Keelan Harvick, who went on his first hunting trip, was successful in hunting an elk with his father. The father-son duo used a Springfield Waypoint rifle for hunting the elk. The rifle is known for its lightweight, precise accuracy, and ergonomic design. Harvick also shared an image of his fully packed hunting pickup truck equipped with all the necessary items. In the last image, Keelan Harvick was seen taking a nap on the couch at the 2014 Cup Series champion's hunting lodge.
Kevin Harvick gave his verdict on his son's hunting skills and wrote:
"First elk hunt for @KeelanHarvick was a success!"
