Former NASCAR champion Kevin Harvick hinted at "great things" on the horizon for the premier Late Model CARS Tour Series, which he co-owns alongside Dale Earnhardt Jr., Jeff Burton and Justin Marks.

Earnhardt Jr. is NASCAR's richest driver at the moment, with a net worth of $300M, according to Celebrity Net Worth.

Following a thrilling finish to the CARS Tour West Pro Late Model race in Roseville, California, Harvick brought the series into the spotlight. As a co-owner, Harvick emphasized the positive developments within the series this season and hinted at even greater things lying ahead for its future.

Linny White clinched his first victory of the season at All-American Speedway in Roseville, California, on October 5, edging out Parker Malone and Kenna Mitchell in a thrilling three-wide photo finish. White sits second in the standings behind Jeffrey Peterson, who has four victories this season.

The CARS Tour Series has featured exciting races this season, with Kevin Harvick and Dale Earnhardt Jr. competing in select events. During the series' recent stop at Florence Motor Speedway, Dale Jr. secured a 10th-place finish in the Late Model category, while Harvick finished seventh in the Pro Late Model division.

Earlier this year, Kevin Harvick opened up about the CARS Tour Series during his visit to Hickory Motor Speedway. Harvick said the series is in a great position, highlighting the great short-track racing product. He thanked the competitors for showing up every week and contributing to the series' success.

In an interview with Frontstretch, the 2014 NASCAR Cup Series champion expressed pride in seeing the CARS Tour Series gain momentum. He hopes to maintain and build on the series' upward trajectory.

"I'm really proud to be a part of it. I think when you look at short track racing right now, late model stock series and the cars tour is really the place to be, and we owe that a lot to our competitors, and them showing up week after week and putting on the races like we like we've seen this year, is just been incredible," Harvick said.

"When you see this type of enthusiasm and you see the the amount of people that show up to watch and race you know, it's just great to be a part of it. I think for us, we talk all the time just about not screwing it up so that that's really our main focus," he added.
