The NASCAR fanbase has opined on Kyle Busch's miserable outing at the Nashville Superspeedway. The Richard Childress Racing driver was closing in for a potential top-5 finish in the Music City but Kyle Larson's fuel issues spun the #8 Chevy driver.

The 1.3-mile oval hosted the fourth Cup Series debacle and witnessed Joey Logano snap his 49-race winless streak. After benefitting from the multiple late-race restarts, the Team Penske driver sealed the deal for his maiden regular Cup win this season. But the 331-lap dash was quite a chaotic one. Though Stage 1 went completely green, the second stage saw multiple cautions.

A tandem of wrecks ensued until the closing moments and drivers like Denny Hamlin, Joey Logano, Chase Briscoe, Kyle Larson, and a few more kept the front spots in their grasp. Among them was Kyle Busch who after suffering from two consecutive DNFs at Iowa Speedway and New Hampshire Motor Speedway, eyed to churn a promising result.

During the third overtime restart, while Hamlin was the leader, Kyle Busch was fourth, behind Kyle Larson's #5 Chevy. However, as the restart began, Larson ran out of fuel as his engine didn't fire and Busch got stuck behind the Hendrick Motorsports driver.

As the RCR driver's front bumper got clipped with Larson's rear, Chase Elliott slammed the #8 Chevy from behind spinning the 39-year-old out of contention. As a result, Kyle Busch stooped to a third consecutive DNF.

Witnessing the series of mishaps with Busch since the current season began, the fanbase gave their take on his another destroyed weekend.

"Kyle Busch can’t get a break," one fan wrote.
"Again, Kyle Busch is having THE MOST UNLUCKY season of all time 😂," another fan added.
"@KyleBusch just can't catch a break this season," another fan concurred.

This fan was apparently left out of words and believed that Busch was under a curse.

"I have no words anymore did someone put a curse on Kyle Busch😭," the fan opined.

One fan jibed at Kyle Larson for wrecking Busch again this season after the last one at Gateway Motorsports Park.

"How many races can @KyleLarsonRacin ruin for @KyleBusch? It’s comical at this point," the fan commented.
"Larson is the one of the reasons Busch can’t finish a race," another fan added.

Kyle Busch is seething away from the playoff cutline as his third DNF added to the misery

Kyle Busch's current season has largely seen subpar performances and four DNFs. Though the two-time Cup Series champion showed glimpses of his supremacy by finishing third at the Atlanta Motor Speedway, fourth at the Dover Motor Speedway, and collecting five top-10s to date, he is far away from reaching the playoff threshold.

To become eligible, the driver needs a win in his arsenal or be placed among the top 16 drivers in the Playoff Picture. So far, neither of the conditions has been met by the RCR driver. Moreover, Busch is yet to bag a stage win this season let alone a race win to open his playoff points account.

While Joey Logano's win in Nashville has pulled him from below the playoff cutline, the RCR driver's four DNFs from five stints and 17th regular season rank are slimming the odds of his entry in the Round of 16.

Only seven races are left before the roster for playoffs is set and it will be interesting to see how Busch's upcoming races will look.
