NASCAR drivers Kyle Busch (Richard Childress Racing), Joey Logano (Team Penske), and Bubba Wallace (23XI Racing) are scheduled to attend the post-game jersey auction night event following the ice hockey game between the Greenville Swamp Rabbits and Reading Royals on January 25th.
Greenville Swamp Rabbits and Reading Royals are Ice Hockey teams that compete in the East Coast Hockey League (based in Shrewsbury, New Jersey) which is a tier below the American Hockey League.
The Swamp Rabbits were originally established as Greenville Road Warriors in 2010, before being rebranded in 2015. They have strong connections with the Los Angeles Kings and are known for developing players for higher professional leagues. Meanwhile, Reading Royals were formed as Columbus Chill in 1991 and have solidifed themselves as a strong contender in the Kelly Cup playoffs (the championship in ECHL) with the 2012-2013 season having been a victorious one for them.
In addition to Busch, Logano, and Wallace, NASCAR drivers Carson Hocevar, Michael McDowell, Justin Haley, and Rajah Caruth from Spire Motorsports are among the confirmed 15 drivers and 4 crew chiefs attending the annual fan-favorite event. Presented by Arthrex, this will be the third installment of the unique event where NASCAR and ice hockey converge.

Bubba Wallace and Kyle Busch's 2024 seasons
Kyle Busch’s 2024 NASCAR Cup Series season marked a significant and challenging moment in his storied career. For the first time in his full-time career, Busch went winless in a season, ending his impressive 19-year streak of at least one Cup Series victory—a record unmatched in NASCAR history.
His Cup performance fell short of his typical standards, with his closest opportunities coming at tracks like Atlanta and Kansas, where late-race incidents ended his hopes for potential wins.
Meanwhile, Bubba Wallace's 2024 season with 23XI Racing showcased glimpses of potential but fell short of expectations. Despite achieving career-best stats in terms of top 10s (14) and top 5s (6), Wallace's inability to secure a win or a playoff spot underlined the challenges faced in the season. Key races like Talladega and Richmond saw promising runs but didn’t culminate in victories.
