Two-time NASCAR Cup Series champion Kyle Busch had a difficult 2024 season. Now, the stock car legend is set to make his dirt racing debut at the 39th Chili Bowl Midget Nationals in 2025.

Since his debut in the Cup Series in 2004, Busch has been one of the most successful drivers in the top national stock car series. Apart from 2004, the Las Vegas-born racer had won one race at the minimum each season. Despite coming close to the top spot a couple of times, the Richard Childress Racing driver was unable to win a race throughout the 2024 season, a first for Busch in about 19 years.

Ahead of the 2025 NASCAR season, Busch is set to make his debut in dirt racing. During an interview with FloRacing, the 39-year-old said he will look forward to advice from Kyle Larson and Christopher Bell ahead of the 39th Chili Bowl Midget Nationals next year.

"I would definitely say there's a few guys that I want to lean on for some advice and guidance. You know, Rico (Abreu) being one of them. Definitely (Kyle) Larson, Christopher Bell, Tanner Thorson. Those guys, I've kind of had a relationship with over the last few years as well as (Ashton) Torgerson. Ran with him and his team in the micro ranks so would love to pick his brain, now that he's gotten a full season underneath his belt as well while we're out there for Chili Bowl Nationals," Busch said (3:51 onward).

A video of the entire interview was shared on X by FloRacing. Here's a look at the post, captioned:

"For years, Kyle Busch said he wouldn't run the #ChiliBowl. So what changed? We'll just let him explain"

"The Cup Season may be over, but the racing season is still in full swing" - NASCAR legend Kyle Busch on competing in the Chili Bowl in 2025

With the 2024 NASCAR Cup Series season ending at Phoenix, the Richard Childress Racing driver Kyle Busch is looking forward to making his debut in dirt racing. The Nevada-based racer spoke about the same during the press announcement with racing partner FloSports.

"The Cup Season may be over, but the racing season is still in full swing with the biggest events on dirt taking place over the next couple of months. The Chili Bowl is a legendary event and has always been on my wishlist. To be able to compete there, and then alongside my son Brexton at the Tulsa Shootout, is making this year one to remember," Kyle Busch said.

By making his debut in what is known as the 'Super Bowl of midget racing,' Busch will join the ranks of fellow NASCAR drivers like Kyle Larson and Christopher Bell, who have also competed in the iconic event.
