NASCAR driver Kyle Busch's son, Brexton Busch, showcased his immense talent by securing his first Golden Driller in a stunning performance at the Tulsa Shootout, his first race of the year. FloRacing shared a thrilling clip of the young dirt racing sensation dominating the Junior Sprints final at the SageNet Center in Tulsa, Oklahoma.

Busch and his son Brexton both delivered standout performances at the Tulsa Shootout. Competing in different events, Kyle claimed victory in the FuelTech Race 58 of the Non-Wing Outlaw class and finished fifth in the Winged A class. Meanwhile, Brexton stole the spotlight by winning the Junior Sprints A-Main race as his proud father cheered from the stands.

Moreover, Kyle Busch was interviewed by FloRacing following Brexton's victory in the Junior Sprints event, where he said that watching Brexton race was more nerve-racking to him than competing in the Daytona 500.

"A lot better than I was about 25 minutes ago," Busch told FloRacing about his mood. "I think this is more stress and more butterflies on me here for him than it is for the Daytona 500. This is such a huge deal, and it means so much to a family, what we do, and what we pour our lives into."

Two-time NASCAR Cup Series champion Kyle Busch, driver of the #8 car for Richard Childress Racing, has established himself as one of the sport's all-time greats with 231 career victories across all series. Ranked ninth on the all-time Cup Series wins list with 63 victories, Busch also holds the record for most wins in both the Xfinity and Truck Series. He captured the 2009 Xfinity Series championship with nine race wins and 11 runner-up finishes in a dominant season.

Although 'Rowdy' struggled in the 2024 Cup Series campaign, he would be looking for a resurgence in the upcoming season, which opens with the Daytona 500 on February 16th.

"That was awesome": Kyle Busch's son Brexton overjoyed after securing Junior Sprints' Golden Driller

Kyle Busch's son Brexton had left the Tulsa Shootout last year with a lot of disappointment, however, the championship mentality that runs in the Busch family, helped him bounce back and win his first-ever Junior Sprints championship. Following the end of the race, Brexton Busch was asked to express his feelings about winning the prestigious event

"That was awesome. I'm so glad to be here right now and when it's been I've been watching all the races from last year to get it here. And we've won all of these races yet here and it's awesome to win this race." Brexton said

On being asked to reflect on his performance during the 20-lap event, the nine-year-old said:

"Yeah, I was definitely very lucky to not get into some lap traffic. I was a little worried about that, but still just awesome to win. I thought that one time on lap 14 right there, whenever Eli had to pull in and Jax was right behind me. I thought I gave it away when I hit the berm and went up, so I'm glad I didn't."

Moreover, the Cup Series rivalry between Kyle Busch and Kyle Larson extended to the Junior Sprints event where both their sons competed against each other. While Busch emerged victorious, Larson's son Owen finished the event in P6.
