"One making protein banana bars and one chopping up carrots for me for chicken noodle soup. I love that they love to be in the kitchen with me."
9-year-old Brexton Busch has already pursued his father's footsteps as he has a strong record in junior races throughout the country. He has been racing in the dirt since his debut in 2020 in the Beginner Box Stock division at Millbridge Speedway and Mountain Creek Speedway.
He recently stepped on asphalt for his first competitive endeavor in a kart. Samantha Busch posted another story, reflecting his determination in racing as he wished to practice with someone experienced to learn better.
"What I'm most proud of he woke up this morning and said mom can I watch some film and can we get out on the track with someone with experience so I can collow and learn. I knew he felt discouraged the otehr day, happy to see it pushing him to work hard."
Kyle Busch claims his son could debut in the NASCAR Truck Series by age 16
Mentored by his father and coming from a family with a rich racing culture, Brexton Busch seemingly has the upper hand when it comes to pushing down on the track. He recently also shared a post on social media revealing he drew the Trackhouse Motorplex layout without looking.
This is the track that he is set to make his karting debut on-
Recently speaking with NASCAR insider Jeff Gluck, Kyle Busch claimed that his son Brexton could debut in the Truck Series as early as he turns 16. He revealed the plan that he had set for the upcoming racing series he could participate in.
"When he turns 10, he can run Legend cars, so we’ll add that in next May. And then at 12, you’re allowed to run the CARS Tour Pro Late Models. So he’ll probably get into some of that at 12," Kyle Busch said.
Kyle Busch further explained that he is keeping Brexton in touch with both the asphalt and dirt and not putting him into one extreme.
"I want to keep him on the dirt and asphalt realm, I don’t feel like you should go one way or the other. I like what we’re doing right now, he gets in his Bandolero car and he knows what he’s got to do on pavement, he gets into his dirt car and he knows what he’s got to do on dirt. So I really like that. We’ll probably stick with some of that mixture. And then by 16, he’ll be ready for some Trucks," Kyle Busch concluded.
Brexton is set to make his debut in competitive karting this weekend at Trackhouse Motorplex.
