Samantha Busch, Kyle Busch’s wife, graced the Bank of America Roval 400 in a stunning all-white dress, which she also wore before her trip to Italy last July. Samantha rocked the dress on the infield as she supported her husband's race at Charlotte Motor Speedway.
Kyle and Samantha Busch got married in December 2010. They met during Samantha’s junior year in college when she attended a NASCAR race arranged by a promotional agency.
In a new Instagram post, Samantha shared her day (via Shop Samantha Busch) as a race wife and boutique owner in Charlotte. She first went to her boutique shop and met up with some fans.
Samantha Busch then got back to their trailer in the infield and wore the all-white dress as she headed to the driver’s introduction ceremony. She and her daughter Lennix Ley met Kyle Busch, sending him their good luck wishes.
The white open-back dress was from Aritzia, a Canadian clothing retail company founded in 1984. Samantha shared the shop link on her IG story for interested individuals. According to the website, the dress is available in three colors, along with four limited edition colors, at $118.
In Samantha’s ‘Day in My Life’ video, her husband Kyle Busch could be seen running a black and red Lenovo livery in the No. 8 Richard Childress Racing Chevrolet Camaro.
When the flag fell at Charlotte Motor Speedway, Kyle Busch finished 13th after starting from 11th. With Busch coming short of a win, his streak of winning at least one race in a season is still on the line.
Kyle Busch has four races left to try and extend his streak of at least one NASCAR race won each season to 20 consecutive years. The next stop is Las Vegas Motor Speedway for the Round of 8 opening race.
Samantha Busch plays a role in showing fans the other side of Kyle
In an interview with NASCAR insider Jeff Gluck, Samantha Busch was asked whether she assumed the role of a spokesperson for her husband Kyle. The mother of two said she uses social media to show the ‘loving and caring’ side of the RCR driver, which is not apparent during race weekends.
Samantha Busch responded to the question by saying,
“I love it, I think that’s a good way to think about it. Yeah, I just want people to see the side of Kyle Busch that I get to see, the kind of fun, the loving, the caring, the daddy side. I think people see him for a split second whether it’s during the anthem or after the race with an interview and that’s not exactly who he really is.”
She added:
“That’s him in race mode and that’s his job, but what I like to show is the softer side. You know, him teaching Brex how to drive or them playing at the park and things like that that people might not get to see. Obviously, I like social media a whole lot more than he does so I think it’s nice to be able to give fans that access.”
Outside the track, the couple raise two kids named Lennix Ley and Brexton Locke. Brexton, 9, is currently climbing his way up in the racing ranks to try to debut at the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series at 16 years old.
