Kyle Larson received a package from one of his NASCAR sponsors over the weekend. Larson took to Instagram to share several Prime Hydration flavors featuring his eldest child Owen Miyata posing for a photo-op.
Larson is a 32-year-old NASCAR Cup Series driver who pilots the No. 5 Chevrolet Camaro for Hendrick Motorsports. He signed a sponsorship deal with Prime Hydration earlier this year, which put the brand on the driver's helmet.
Prime is an energy drink company co-owned by social media personalities Logan Paul and KSI.
Per Instagram, Larson posted his sponsor's package with Owen giving a thumbs up.
"Owen’s dialed in, thanks @drinkprime," Larson wrote.
Prime sent the 2021 NASCAR Cup Series champion several drink flavors, including the Ice Pop drink. It is the same drink which was painted on the driver's helmet for the 2024 season.
Larson joins other renowned athletes as part the Prime camp, including NBA star Kevin Durant, NFL quarterback Patrick Mahomes, and professional boxer Devin Haney, among others.
Meanwhile, the No. 5 Chevrolet is sponsored by brands such as HendrickCars.com and Valvoline. The former is Hendrick Motorsports owner Rick Hendrick's automotive dealership business, which he had been growing even before joining NASCAR.
British marque McLaren also sponsors the Chevrolet pilot, allowing him to drive a car in the IndyCar Series.
With the recent Instagram update, it is safe to assume Prime Hydration will stay with Larson in the coming years. However, HendrickCars.com and Valvoline should still be the main sponsors for the driver's races next season.
Kyle Larson's No. 5 Chevrolet paint schemes for 2025 revealed
Kyle Larson's main sponsors revealed their paint schemes for the No. 5 Chevrolet for the 2025 season. Valvoline posted on social media the reworked livery for Larson, which sports a red base color instead of the white seen this year.
In an Instagram post, the automotive service company wrote:
"2025 is coming and @kylelarsonracin is ready to hit the gas. #TeamValvoline."
Larson drove the No. 5 Valvoline Chevrolet at tracks like the Chicago street course, Sonoma Raceway, and Phoenix Raceway this season.
Hendrick Motorsports, meanwhile, shared the HendrickCars.com paint scheme for 2025, which should be the Californian's go-to. The team offered the reworked livery in a diecast model autographed by the No. 5 driver.
The most notable change for next year's cars is the painted side skirts as opposed to the blacked-out version used this year.
This year witnessed Larson score six race wins, the most in the season. He also had 15 top-5s and 18 top-10s, and led the most laps at 1,700 laps.
However, Larson was eliminated after the Round of 8 at Martinsville Speedway. Joey Logano was later crowned the champion with four wins and 414 laps led.
The HMS star will return to the No. 5 Chevy on February 16 for the Daytona 500 season-opener. He will compete alongside the same teammates, including William Byron, Chase Elliott, and Alex Bowman.
