Katelyn Larson, the wife of the 2021 NASCAR Cup Series champion Kyle Larson, celebrated the Brickyard 400 victory in her iconic style on Sunday (July 21). Mrs. Larson chugged a whole can of beer on the finish line at Indianapolis after her husband added the prestigious crown jewel victory to his NASCAR racing resume.

Katlyn’s shotgunning a beer celebration has become a signature part of her husband’s winning moments. She is often seen chugging a beer in Victory Lane—or even at the ceremony honoring Kyle Larson's championship. This iconic celebration reminds of her previous memorable celebrations, and Larson also enjoys the genuine excitement and support of his wife.

NASCAR shared the magnificent moment of Katelyn’s iconic celebration on social media. Reacting to it, Larson wrote on X:

Outa retirement just in time for vacation”

Kyle Larson reached the victory lane for the fourth time this season on Sunday at Indianapolis Motor Speedway. He took command of the race in overtime and held off the charge of Ryan Blaney and Tyler Reddick for the lead before NASCAR called out a caution for Ryan Preece’s stalled car.

Kyle Larson expresses his emotions about winning NASCAR’s crown jewel at the IMS Oval

Winning a NASCAR’s crown jewel event is a different feeling for any driver. Larson now has three of the four crown jewel victories, including the Coca-Cola 600 at Charlotte Motor Speedway and the Southern 500 at Darlington Raceway. Only the Daytona 500 trophy is missing in his cabinet.

Kyle Larson expressed his excitement and appreciation for racing at Indianapolis Motor Speedway, which returned to the 2.5-mile oval for the first time since 2020 after running past three races on the road course.

Following the race, reacting on his prestigious crown jewel victory at IMS, Larson said (via motorsports.com):

“This is just such a prestigious place, such hallowed ground. Pretty neat to get an opportunity to race here on the oval again. What a job by our team. I mean, we never gave up at all. We had the pit stop issue there early on. Just fought and dug and had things work out. I love you, Indiana fans. I know you guys love me, too. How about we come back next May and try to kiss these bricks in an IndyCar?”

NASCAR Cup Series is on a two-week break. So, Kyle Larson will be seen in action next month at Richmond Raceway. The event will begin on Sunday, August 11.
