Kyle Larson's post-race response to Ryan Blaney's f-bomb has caught Pat McAfee's attention. The renowned sports analyst enjoyed the Brickyard 400 winner's sarcastic jibe at the defending Cup Series champion while thanking NASCAR for his controversial win.

The Hendrick Motorsports driver sealed his maiden Indianapolis Motor Speedway victory after a disappointing Indy-Charlotte Double, finishing 18th in the Indy 500. However, Larson's triumph left Ryan Blaney fuming as he didn't expect the restart to go green when Brad Keselowski abruptly vacated his spot for refueling.

"There's no way they should've let that go green. That's ridiculous. They just GAVE it to him (Kyle Larson). It's f*cking over, I'm on the top. I ain't gonna win from the top. Gave it to f*cking golden boy. Son of a b*tch," Blaney said.

Nonetheless, the race continued and Kyle Larson enjoyed his fourth trip to the victory lane this season, bringing home HMS' 11th Brickyard 400 win.

A couple of hours after dethroning the #12 Ford driver from his potential second consecutive win, the 2021 Cup Series champion thanked NASCAR while replying to motorsport journalist Kelly Crandall's Tweet which quoted the Team Penske driver's displeasure.

While the HMS driver's response could further frustrate the Ohio native, Pat McAfee appreciated how Larson handled the tweet.

"The whole they hand him [Larson] the race, Ryan Blaney going crazy there and then him [Larson] feeding into it and quote tweeting and going, 'Thanks NASCAR for giving me that entire thing.' We like that," McAfee said via YouTube (1:45.00).

"Here, it’s a death sentence" - Ryan Blaney on being on the outside line while Kyle Larson got the inside line

The 2.5-mile IMS Oval has no elevation on the straights and 9.2 degrees on the turns. This means the inside lane throughout the track doesn't rise much, so the driver can run considerably faster than on the outside lane.

This troubled Blaney as Kyle Larson placed his #5 Chevy in the inside line upon Keselowski's exit. He also probably had more fuel in his Camaro, considering his mode-push run from 20th place in Stage 2 to catching up with the frontrunners.

"If it was any other place, it’s not going to be as bad because the second lane at all the other places, you can maintain. Here [at IMS], it’s a death sentence. You’re not maintaining the lead from the top on the front row,” Blaney said via NASCAR.

Ryan Blaney had another shot at reclaiming the lead when the 167-lap dash went into the final overtime restart. That was prompted by the first overtime crash involving Daniel Hemric, John Hunter Nemechek, Denny Hamlin, and Chase Briscoe.

However, Kyle Larson didn't let his guard down and gunned toward the checkered flag, with Tyler Reddick in second and the Team Penske driver in third.
