Kyle Larson joked on his social media after learning Christopher Bell's accidental mishap during NASCAR media duty. The Hendrick Motorsports driver had a cheeky viewpoint to Bell announcing Chase Briscoe as Martin Truex Jr.'s replacement at Joe Gibbs Racing next year.

Ahead of the New Hampshire Cup race at Loudon, Bell was asked about his feelings on having to take up leadership role at JGR after Truex Jr.'s retirement next season. However, Bell got a little carried away and unconsciously revealed JGR's replacement next year.

Bell stated:

"I don’t think there really is a leadership role in that aspect, and whenever Chase come into the car…" before stopping to realise his blunder

After the video of the incident resurfaced, Kyle Larson jokingly wished Chase Elliott the "best on his new adventure" as both the drivers share the same name. Larson knows his Hendrick teammate isn't leaving the team, but decided to take a cheeky jibe at the circumstances.

Yung Money tweeted:

"Man totally blind sided by this news! Wishing @chaseelliott the best on his new adventure at @JoeGibbsRacing. Have enjoyed you as a teammate! 😂 Good Luck #d19"

Kyle Larson looking forward to this weekend's New Hampshire challenge

Just days after crashing out of NASCAR's inaugural Cup race at Iowa, Kyle Larson is looking forward to the New Hampshire test this weekend. The Hendrick Motorsports driver was on his way to challenge Ryan Blaney and win successive races at Iowa.

However, a collision with Daniel Suarez saw him DNF from the race. Larson is ready to put the disappointing result behind and start fresh at New Hampshire.

Larson stated (quotes by Speedway Digest):

"New Hampshire is really challenging, especially with the bumps getting into turn three. Whether it's being loose into the corners or whether your car is 'bouncing' into three, you have to be patient with your car. We've had some good runs there, and I like the track and the challenge it provides."

Larson has a brilliant record at the New Hampshire racetrack. He has five top-5 finishes and seven top-10 finishes at the track.

Kyle Larson currently sits second in the Cup Series points table behind his Hendrick Motorsports teammate Chase Elliott. However, he has the most playoff points amongst any drivers in the series currently (5 more than the second placed Denny Hamlin).

Can Larson break his 'Magic Mile' curse and win his first race at the racetrack?
