Kyle Busch's wife, Samantha Busch, shared her thoughts on consuming controversial food like red meat. Busch said she eats red meat despite some people not recommending it yet she still feels 'amazing.'
Samantha Busch is a 38-year-old entrepreneur and lifestyle blogger who wed Kyle Busch in December 2010. The couple met when Samantha had a promotional modeling gig for Chevrolet at a 2007 NASCAR event.
Per Instagram, Busch got real about eating red meat again after answering a question from a fan. While some people may recommend certain diets, she suggested listening to your body instead.
"Incredible! Listening to your body is key!" Busch said.
She added:
"Everything they say not to eat - red meat, butter, salt, eggs, I eat them daily and feel amazing (side bar grass-fed beef and butter, good salt, organic eggs)."
Some people don't recommend consuming red meat because it contains a lot of saturated fat. This increases the risks of health problems such as heart disease, diabetes, and even cancer, especially colorectal cancer.
However, Samantha Busch argued listening to one's body is key to a balanced diet.
The fan question follows an earlier Instagram story where the mother of two opened up about eating red meat again after 25 years.
"I don't know even know who I am anymore [...] Spent 25 years not eating regular red meat, now I'm downing hearts and livers too," Busch stated.
Busch answered more fan questions in later IG stories, including her next travel destination. She said Dubai is next on her bucket list after checking out Italy earlier this year.
"Everything is so fresh": Samantha Busch shared her thoughts on Italy's fresh food during vacation
During NASCAR's two-week break from July to August earlier this year, Samantha and the Busch family went on a vacation in Italy. Samantha shared how delighted she was with fresh and natural food in the country.
In an Instagram story, Busch wrote:
"Everything is so fresh, I can't get over the food! Nothing is filled with chemicals or fake ingredients."
The two-week break was introduced to make way for this year's Olympics, though drivers like Kevin Harvick argued an annual mid-season break should be implemented.
The Busch family took the time to visit Italy, which also happens to be where Samantha's father grew up. They visited her old man's place in Caivano, which gave her a new perspective on her family background.
"I heard the stories but couldn’t quite imagine it. Yesterday I had the chance to go to Caivano and see his childhood house along with my Nonno’s. One bedroom, no bathroom. It put my childhood into perspective. How I was raised, the values that were instilled," Busch shared.
For 2025, Samantha plans to continue hosting pop-up stores at racetracks. Meanwhile, her husband Kyle Busch will return to the No. 8 Chevrolet Camaro for Richard Childress Racing after an underwhelming season this year.
