Daniel Suarez tied the knot with his longtime girlfriend Julia Piquet on July 30 in the latter's hometown of Brasilia. The Trackhouse Racing driver posted two pictures from their special day on his official Instagram account, one of which was him planting a kiss on his bride's forehead. Bubba Wallace's wife, Amanda Wallace, reacted to the post saying that the pictures looked like a dream.

Daniel Suarez and Julia Piquet first met back in 2012. After being together for several years, the couple got engaged in November 2022. As NASCAR hopped on a two-week break due to the Paris Olympics (from 26th July to 11th August), Piquet's father and F1 champion, Nelson Piquet kicked off the couple's big day with a cocktail party on July 28 (as reported by PEOPLE).

Suarez captioned the post, saying,

"What a day! I love you!"

Soon, Daniel Suarez's fans on Instagram flooded the comments section with congratulatory notes. Meanwhile, Bubba Wallace's wife wrote:

"Looks like a dream! Congrats to you two!!!!"

Getting married in her hometown was special to Julia Piquet. Reflecting on the same, the 32-year-old health coach said (via PEOPLE),

"Being able to get married in my hometown of Brasilia, where I lived for four years during high school, is very special. It's a place that I love."

Following his wedding, Daniel Suarez will take part in the NASCAR Brasil Series on August 3rd and 4th at São Paulo.

Daniel Suarez excited about running the NASCAR Brasil Series

Daniel Suarez will compete at the Autódromo José Carlos Pace, a 2.677-mile racetrack, commonly known as Autódromo de Interlagos or just Interlagos. The circuit is situated in São Paulo, Brazil, and was inaugurated on 12th May, 1940. However, the Brasil Series was officially announced in November 2022.

The Brasil Series is running its second season in 2024. The event that Suarez is expected to enter is the fifth stage in the current NASCAR Brasil Series calendar. Elated at the opportunity, Suarez told NASCAR a few weeks before his wedding,

"We’re gonna be getting married in Brazil in a couple weeks, and when I found out that they were gonna be having a NASCAR Brasil race in Interlagos on a race track that is so historic. It was a no-brainer for me. I started having some conversations with NASCAR and NASCAR Brasil, and I got the opportunity, so super excited. Very fortunate to have this opportunity."
"I’ve been competing in Brazil since 2015, endurance races in go-karts, and I have got to know the culture, the people and the motorsport love to a different level. I’ve been competing almost every year, pretty much, since 2015, and I love it so much. That’s why I do it," the Mexican-born speedster added.

With 460 points to his name, Suarez is currently 17th in the NASCAR Cup Series standings and 92 points behind his teammate, Ross Chastain. His next race is at Sonoma Raceway on August 11th. Tune in to NBC Sports and the USA Network to watch the race live. Fans can listen to radio updates as well on MRN and SiriusXM NASCAR Radio.
