The High Limit Racing Sprint Car Series driver, Corey Day made his NASCAR debut in the Truck Series on Friday. The NASCAR driver Kyle Larson co-owns High Limit Racing with five-time World of Outlaws champion Brad Sweet.

2021 Cup Series champion Kyle Larson drives the #5 Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 for Hendrick Motorsports, competing full-time in the Cup Series. In his 12-year career, Larson has secured 27 Cup Series wins and 175 top-ten finishes. His most recent victory came at NASCAR’s return to the legendary Indianapolis Oval in the prestigious Brickyard 400.

Corey Day, who races in Kyle Larson-owned High Limits Racing, was recently announced to drive in four Truck Series races for McAnally-Hilgemann Racing. Following his debut race at Bristol Motor Speedway, Day shared his thoughts on X about his experience behind the wheel of a NASCAR Truck.

"I got really comfortable in that ARCA car there. I just, you know, got comfortable with the setup we had in it. And I felt like I could drive really, really hard. And I knew where my limber was where I think I was still searching for that in the truck. I didn't, you know, I kind of got to it a couple times, but it's just, you know, way different," Day stated.
"So, yeah, just a lot, a lot more going on than what I'm used to, which, you know, our racing is way more fast-paced than this, but just, you know, a lot more going on for sure," he added.

Corey Day finished the UNOH 200 Presented by Ohio Logistics in P18, right in front of Xfinity race winner Connor Zilisch. He will further pilot a HendrickCars.com Chevrolet Silverado RST in three more Truck Series Races. The #81 will be witnessed again at Martinsville and then Day will switch to the #91 entry at Kansas Speedway and Homestead-Miami.

Meanwhile, Larson, who finished P12 at Watkins Glen International, is 26 points above the Round of 12 cut-off line. Although he is currently P9 in the standings, the former champion will have to find his rhythm at Bristol to comfortably reach the next round of the playoffs.

McLaren Racing's Zak Brown teases Kyle Larson's future F1 appearance

Kyle Larson has showcased his versatility as a motorsports athlete by bringing laurels across multiple disciplines of motorsports. However, Larson has never participated in an F1 GP.

McLaren Racing's Team Principal Zak Brown recently shared that he has been in conversation with Larson about making an appearance in F1. In a recent episode of Kevin Harvick's Happy Hour podcast, Brown said:

"Yeah, we've been chatting about it. Kyle, as you can imagine, definitely wants to do it in between our schedule, which goes from February to December, and NASCAR schedule, which I think is February to November, finding that window."

Brown further solidified Larson's possibilities in F1 as he believes this is something that "will happen down the road."
