Bubba Wallace and his wife Amanda Wallace are all set for the final stretch of their pregnancy. The couple shared the news back in April with a heartfelt post featuring ultrasound images and a poetic caption: "Spring has sprung. Summer will be rad. Fall is the first time, we'll be mom and dad!" With just three months to go, the Wallaces' are eager to welcome their new member.
Recently, the couple made a stylish appearance at Tyler Reddick's wedding, embracing the joys of pregnancy. Bubba Wallace's wife, Amanda Wallace, shared a snapshot on social media where they both looked stunning in black. She was particularly striking in a chic black dress, bold red lipstick, and a bright fuchsia pink bag. Alongside the photo, she extended her best wishes to the newlyweds, writing:
"Kicking off a much needed off weeks celebrating in style 🖤 lots of nesting and relaxation planned as we prepare for the final stretch growing this baby and the remainder of race season!! Congratulations to the beautiful bride @alexa.deleon_ & @tyler_reddick."
Recently, Amanda Wallace celebrated her baby shower in style, joined by Julia Piquet, Daniel Suarez's fiancée. During the festivities, she took to social media to share snapshots from the event, including a photo of a charming gift—a sweater with the inscription "Asher's NEW BEST FRIEND." Asher, the beloved dog the Wallaces adopted in 2020, is all set to meet his new buddy.
A look at Bubba Wallace's 2024 season so far
As the 2024 season will near its end by the time his baby comes, Bubba Wallace is already looking forward to spending quality time with his newborn—timing that might coincide with his birthday week. If this time is also marked by strong finishes on the track, it would be icing on the cake.
Now in his eighth season in the NASCAR Cup Series and fourth with 23XI Racing, Bubba Wallace stands 14th in the driver standings with 545 points, trailing leader Kyle Larson by 204 points. This season, he has secured four top-5 finishes and eight top-10s, including three DNFs. Notably, two of his top-5 finishes were at the season's start in Daytona and Atlanta, both times finishing 5th.
Most recently, at the Brickyard 400, Bubba Wallace impressively surged from 17th to finish 5th. The recovery included winning Stage 2 after not appearing in the top 10 in Stage 1.
Bubba Wallace has shown decent performance on the track, but he recently faced a significant setback—a $50,000 fine for breaching Sections 4.4.B & D of NASCAR's Member Code of Conduct. This penalty came after a post-race incident at the Grant Park 165, where Wallace wrecked Alex Bowman during the cool-down lap. The incident followed an earlier clash during Stage 1, where Wallace felt wronged by Bowman's #48 car.
NASCAR's decision to impose the fine was based on their view that Wallace had sufficient time to cool off after the race and should not have deliberately caused a collision.
