"He tends to hide the weird stuff" - Dale Earnhardt Jr.'s wife spills the beans on his unusual habits
Dale Earnhardt Jr. shared a clip from his "Dale Jr. Download" podcast on Instagram where Amy answered a fan question about the weirdest, most random things Jr. has ever bought.
Amy recalled a funny story about him hiding things to avoid getting in trouble and shared about how he used to eat fireballs and hide the middle part of them on the couch, which their housekeeper later found.
"He tends to hide the weird stuff and I'll find it. This goes back to feeling like another child in the house to take care of because he knows it's something he'll get nagged for. He just recently bought a bunch of candy that I intercepted. He used to eat fireballs. What he did with the middle part of it was to stick it under the couch. And we didn't find them for a very long time," Amy said.
"Our housekeeper, she calls Sonny out. She's like, 'Sonny, I don't know what this is, but there's a bunch of tiny little white pebbles underneath the couch.' And they smell like cinnamon. And Sonny starts dying laughing. He's like, that's a damn fireball," she added.
Earnhardt Jr. and Amy own a vodka brand, High Rock Vodka, which they launched in 2022, in partnership with Sugarlands Distilling Company.
