This fresh look emphasizes Valvoline's iconic branding and Larson's continued prominence in the sport.

Former Cup Series champion Kyle Larson pilots the #5 Chevrolet for Hendrick Motorsports and will compete in his fifth full-time season with the team in 2025. The new livery for his #5 Chevy was recently unveiled on Valvoline's X (formerly Twitter), where they have given an all-around view of the car. With the red and white, the paint scheme features blue accents, emphasizing Valvoline's color palette

Several NASCAR fans have reacted to the new paint scheme, expressing their appreciation for the design.

Meanwhile, a few fans criticized the new paint scheme, calling it unoriginal and basic.

Kyle Larson secured his spot in the 2024 Cup Series playoffs this season, however, he could not secure his spot in the Championship 4. In the 2024 Season, the #5 driver drove his Chevy into victory lane six times in 35 race starts. Moreover, Larson secured 15 top-five finishes and started from pole 5 times last season.

Hendrick Motorsports driver Chase Elliott secured the prestigious Most Popular Driver award for the seventh consecutive time this season. Following his achievement, Kyle Larson expressed his thoughts on his HMS teammate's incredible achievement.

In an interview with Frontstretch, Larson said:

“He’s definitely got a large fan base, for sure, in NASCAR. It’s cool to see. I feel like my fan base has grown a lot this year with getting to do everything that I’ve done. We’ll see, but he usually wins by quite a bit. You never know. But no, I think it’s cool to be part of Hendrick Motorsports, having probably the two most popular guys in the sport currently.” [4:58 onwards]
