Former NASCAR driver Mark Martin reacted to a fan's wholesome comment on his Winn Dixie car that he drove in the Busch Series (now called the Xfinity Series). The special paint scheme featured black paint with a yellow #60 decal.
NASCAR Classics recently shared a post on X (formerly Twitter), asking fans which was their favorite livery that raced in the Xfinity Series through history. The post showcased four cars, including Mark Martin's iconic Winn Dixie car. As mentioned, it featured black as the primary color. It was an instant eye-catcher on the grid and was loved by fans all the times it was driven.
Under the post, a fan wrote about witnessing the car live during a race.
"I once saw him drive that car when it was so loose that I wondered how he would hold onto it on pit road. But at full speed it ran like a scalded dog. Just buried the field."
Reacting to this comment, Martin said that was "just the way" he liked to drive the Ford. Martin wrote:
"Just the way I liked it ⚡️💨"
Martin was sponsored by the supermarket chain Winn Dixie between 1993 and 2000. During the first year of his sponsorship, the logo was prominently featured on his Ford Thunderbird. It then carried over to the Taurus.

Recently, the IROC's return was announced, and it will once again feature some top names from across motorsport. Among those excited for the rethrn of the racing series was Zak Brown, the CEO of McLaren Racing. He wrote on X:
"So pumped that they're bringing back the iconic IROC series, when we used to be able to answer the question of who was the best of the best!" Zak Brown wrote. "I recently acquired this Cale Yarborough/Darrell Waltrip IROC car that won at Riverside, the racetrack I grew up going to. Can’t wait to get it out on the track at the Monterey Historics!"
Mark Martin replied to his post, hinting that he would participate in the race as well. He wrote that he would attempt to bring his 1995 Dodge Daytona in the esteemed race.
"I look forward to seeing you there with it @ZBrownCEO I will have my 1995 Dodge Daytona there too."
