Former NASCAR driver Greg Biffle shared the heroic efforts of the firefighting pilots helping in the suppression of the LA wildfire by showering thousands of gallons of water taken up from the seas. He mentioned that it was "pure talent" to keep those planes balanced while refilling.

The California wildfires have taken a heavy toll in Los Angeles, causing multiple deaths and casualties, and losses worth millions of dollars. Amid this situation, the fire department is actively trying to suppress the fire and is being helped by firefighting pilots as well. In multiple clips released on social media, their efforts could be seen as they refilled their planes with thousands of gallons of water from a water body without losing their balance and then showering it over the fires.

$30 million-worth Greg Biffle (according to Celebrity Net Worth) shared a similar video on his Instagram account. The Vancouver native wrote that this was a show of "pure talent" by the firefighting pilots.

"This is pure talent and it’s incredible to see," Biffle wrote in the post.

Greg Biffle raced in the NASCAR Cup Series between 2002 and 2022, mostly with Roush Fenway Racing. He claimed 19 victories in the series and finished in second place during the 2005 season, his best overall. He recently participated in the ARCA Menards Series West race at Tri-City Raceway in 2024, finishing in ninth place.

Greg Biffle's wife Cristina shared her "horrible feeling" amid the LA wildfire

Biffle's wife Cristina shared a different angle of the destruction caused by the LA wildfire. She works in the real estate industry, running a business of her own. Sharing the video of a multi-million mansion burning, she mentioned that it was "heartwrenching" to see it burn down.

"As a realtor, seeing any home go up in flames is a horrible feeling - no matter the location or the cost of the home. However, seeing these mega mansions burning in one of the prettiest places in CA is heartwrenching. Stay safe LA - hopefully the fires can be put out soon. 🙏🏼," she wrote on her Instagram post.

This is one of the most destructive wildfires in recent times. Over 180,000 people have been evacuated from the area, and many homes have been destroyed.

The efforts by the fire department are in continuous effect but it has been difficult to handle the destruction being caused over such a massive area.
