With the arrival of longhorns Garth and Penny, Stenhouse Jr.’s farm is slowly becoming a full-fledged animal sanctuary. According to slidejobranch.com, the couple has 5 miniature donkeys and 12 miniature longhorns on their 300-acre property, known as Slide Job Ranch.

The ranch is built in the rolling hills of North Carolina, offering privacy and breathtaking views. In addition to its animals, the estate boasts a custom-built farmhouse, barns, and trails, making it the perfect retreat for Stenhouse and his wife.

How Ricky Stenhouse Jr. fared in the 2024 NASCAR Cup Series season

The #47 JTG Daugherty Racing Chevrolet driver has been competing full-time in the NASCAR Cup Series since the 2013 season but still hasn’t left his mark in the sport. He has decade-long experience in NASCAR, but his performance graph has not grown, having won only four races in 436 starts in the Cup Series.

Despite winning the season-opener Daytona 500 last year, Ricky Stenhouse Jr. had a disappointing season with a lack of consistency and ended up finishing in the 16th in the standings. The same continued in the 2024 season, where he went winless throughout the regular season and missed the playoffs. His only win of the season came at the Talladega fall race.

The 37-year-old Memphis, Tennessee, native managed to score only three top-five and six top-10 finishes with an average finish of 22.05 and ended up finishing 25th in the Cup Series championship standings.

After a topsy-turvy performance this season, Ricky Stenhouse Jr. will look to bounce back in the 2025 season.
