Three-time NASCAR Cup Series champion Tony Stewart's wife Leah Pruett recently shared a relatable meme from her official Instagram account. On Sunday (January 5), she took to Instagram to share about her postpartum date night experience with husband Stewart after entering parenthood for the first time.

Stewart and Pruett welcomed their first baby boy, Dominic, on November 17, 2024. Since then, the couple has been navigating the highs and lows of parenthood and spending time together. However, the situation isn’t the same even when the couple somehow managed to go on a date.

Pruett, who is an NHRA Top Fuel drag racer, shared a meme video from @sleepwellbymel’s Instagram account, highlighting the tricky task of going on a date with her husband after giving birth.

After experiencing the same after Dominic’s birth, NASCAR Hall of Famer Tony Stewart’s wife shared a video on her Instagram story, and the video was captioned:

“The first time going on a date with your husband after emerging from the postpartum daze.”

Tony Stewart, who has a net worth of $90 million (according to Celebrity Net Worth), replaced his wife, Pruett, in the 2024 NHRA season to compete as a rookie in the Top Fuel Division. Stewart and Pruett married on November 21, 2021, and got engaged in March 2021.

Tony Stewart’s wife shares an update about her racing plans

Leah Pruett is looking forward to eventually returning to NHRA, but her current priority is to focus on being a full-time mother and keeping racing plans on hold for the 2025 season.

In an interview with “Behind The Catch Fence,” speaking about not opting to race in 2025, Pruett said:

“As much as I can't wait to, at some point—whenever that is—get back in a dragster, it's not 2025. I'm looking forward to that. I'm not letting that take any moment away from being with this baby.”
“Literally, you know, his face is changing every day, and he's growing every day. Our phones now have hundreds of photos on them and videos of just pure baby nothingness. I'm just making sure we capture it. I keep it right here, keep it in my heart, because he's going to be walking, talking, and talking back to Tony sooner than we can imagine...I'm having the best time of my life.”

The 36-year-old Pruett is a 12-time Top Fuel event winner and has had a nearly three-decade NHRA career. She finished the 2023 season in third place in the NHRA final standings, the best of her career.

Tony Stewart will continue to race in the Top Fuel Division in the 2025 season during Pruett's hiatus.
