Ricky Stenhouse Jr.'s wife, Madyson Joye Stenhouse has shared her bittersweet experience with her Doodle dog with her Instagram followers. While the breed is known for being goofy and lovable, she claimed that hers were "feral."

The couple has a five-month-old son, Stetson. But their attention gets divided in the house as they also have two pet Doodle dogs, who are seemingly much of a troublemaker. Madyson posted a story of the two on Instagram.

"I thought Doodles were supposed to be cuddle and sweet. Mine are feral and bring animal bones from the woods every day🥴," Ricky Stenhouse Jr.'s wife wrote.

Madyson doesn't regularly share updates of her Doodles as much as she shares pictures with her family, but earlier last year she did post a picture of both of them together. Her pet canines are seemingly the Goldendoodle breed, resulting from cross-breeding Golden Retrievers with Poodles. They got their color and size from the Retrievers, while the texture of their hair was from the Poodles.

Madyson Joye Stenhouse hints at Ricky Stenhouse Jr.'s participation in the Indy 500

Earlier this season, Hendrick Motorsports' Kyle Larson attempted "The Double," trying to race in both the Coca-Cola 600 and the Indianapolis 500 on the same day. Attempting the former is important for NASCAR drivers to ensure they have a chance at getting into the playoffs and thus the title fight while winning the Indy 500 is considered a part of the Triple Crown of Motorsport.

This can be quite a tough challenge for the drivers as the Charlotte Motor Speedway (host of the Coca-Cola 600) and the Indianapolis Motor Speedway are over 500 miles apart (when driving). However, this has not stopped drivers from attempting The Double.

When a fan inquired about the same of Madyson Joye Stenhouse, asking about Ricky Stenhouse Jr.'s participation, she said:

"Never say never, but that's not something on the radar at the moment."

Weather conditions also play an important role for the drivers attempting The Double as a delay in the Indy 500 can cost them the event at Charlotte Motor Speedway. This happened with Larson this year, who was delayed for the race start due to worsening weather conditions at Indianapolis, but NASCAR gave him a waiver and he was allowed to participate in the Playoffs.

Stenhouse Jr. has never raced in the Indy 500. He made his Cup Series debut in 2011 and was signed full-time for 2013. He has since collected four wins, with his first one in Talladega in 2017 and the latest one on the same track in the 2024 season.
