Joe Gibbs Racing star Christopher Bell's wife Morgan had a special birthday wish in store for the former Truck Series champion who turned 30 on Monday.
2017 NASCAR Truck Series champion, Christopher Bell, has been on a steady climb since his debut. The Oklahoma native, who has 9 Cup Series race wins under his bag already, came through the Kyle Busch Motorsports pipeline, making his Truck debut in 2015.
As he continues his steady rise and pursuit of excellence in his racing career, Bell has hit a major personal milestone, hitting his 30s. On Monday, the Oklahoma native celebrated his 30th birthday. The fateful event saw his wife, Morgan Bell, share a poignant post on her Instagram handle. She posted a video-collage of the couple with the caption:
"Happy 30th Birthday to the person I couldn't live without! You make it so incredibly easy to celebrate you today and everyday. I love you to forever and always Christopher, let's make year 30 the best yet❤️"
Bell clinched the Truck Series title in only his second full season in 2017 and was fast-tracked to the Xfinity the following season. There, Bell impressed yet again in his maiden campaign, securing a Championship 4 spot. He made his Cup debut in 2020, and after a move to Joe Gibbs Racing in 2021, has been a regular in the post-season.
This season, Christopher Bell clinched three victories in Phoenix, Charlotte, and New Hampshire. The JGR driver marginally missed out on a Championship 4 berth, finishing fifth in the standings at the end of the campaign.
Christopher Bell prepares for Chili Bowl return
Three-time Chili Bowl winner Christopher Bell will return to the competition in its 2025 edition, having last competed in the prestigious midget race in 2022.
The 30-year-old was a regular at the Chili Bowl event until Joe Gibbs Racing restricted their drivers from participating in non-NASCAR races. With JGR lifting the restriction, Bell will aim to clinch his fourth victory in his home state of Oklahoma.
Logan Seavey will enter the race as the defending champion and will join Bell. Two-time winner Kyle Larson and racing legend Kyle Busch will also join them.
Bell, who won three renditions of the race back-to-back from 2017 to 2019, has already kickstarted his preparations for the upcoming Chili Bowl. Returning to the dirt track after a hiatus, he claimed a victory in the POWRi Outlaw Non-Wing Micro League Jr. Knepper 55 race at the Southern Illinois Center in DuQuoin, Illinois. He also set the fastest time in hot laps for the event, displaying a dominant performance.
The 2025 Chili Bowl Nationals are scheduled to take place between 12th and 18th January and FloRacing is set to cover the event.
