The 2023 NASCAR Cup Series heads to Ridgeway, Virginia this weekend after the action-packed 4EVER 400.
The Xfinity 500 is the 35th NASCAR Cup Series race of the season and the final race of the Round of 8. It will take place on Sunday, October 29, at the Martinsville Speedway.
The ninth playoff race is scheduled to start at 2 p.m. ET and will be broadcast on NBC and MRN.
The Xfinity 500 will be contested over 500 laps at the Martinsville Speedway. This will be the 75th annual Xfinity 500 hosted by the venue.
NASCAR journalist Bob Pockrass took to X (previously known as Twitter) to post an entry list of drivers taking part in the 2023 Xfinity 500.
A total of 36 Cup cars will take on the green flag this week in Ridgeway, Virginia. Two spots remained to determine the Championship 4 grid at Phoenix Raceway. Four drivers have changed on this weekend’s docket. They're #15 Rick Ware Racing’s JJ Yeley, #42 Legacy Motor Club’s Carson Hocevar, #51 Rick Ware Racing’s Ryan Newman, and #78 Live Fast Motorsports’ BJ McLeod.
Chrsitopher Bell, the driver of #20 Joe Gibbs Racing Toyota, won last year’s Xfinity 500, with a time of three hours, 24 minutes, and 18 seconds.
