NASCAR 2023: Full weekend schedule for Coca-Cola 600 at Charlotte Motor Speedway

The 2023 NASCAR Coca-Cola 600 is all set to take place on Sunday (May 28) at the Charlotte Motor Speedway. Fans can watch the race on FOX and PRN at 6:00 pm ET. This will be the 14th race of the 2023 NASCAR season in Concord, North Carolina.

The Charlotte Motor Speedway features 24 degrees of banking in the turns and five degrees of banking on the straightaways. The track opened in 1960 and hosted its first Cup Series race the same year, with Joe Lee Johnson taking the win at the inaugural event.

The 37 drivers entering this week’s Cup Series race will compete for over 400 laps at the 1.5-mile-long asphalt speedway. The Cup Series weekend will start with Saturday’s (May 27) practice session. It will be followed by a qualifying race on the same day and conclude with the Coca-Cola 600 main race on Sunday.

The Charlotte Motor Speedway will host the season’s 14th event of the Cup Series as well as the third of the four crown jewel races. It will also be the 12th for Xfinity and the 11th for the Truck Series in over three days.

Denny Hamlin and Joe Gibbs Racing enter as the defending winners of the Coca-Cola 600 after securing a thrilling victory in last year's event. The #11 Toyota driver will look to defend his title on Sunday.
