After 13 action-packed race weekends, the 2023 NASCAR Cup Series season heads to North Wilkesboro Speedway for an action-packed All-Star Race weekend.
Sunday (May 21)’s race is expected to be exciting, as the Next Gen car will run for the first time at North Wilkesboro Speedway. All the drivers who will take the field will be racing to win the 200-lap event.
North Wilkesboro Speedway is a 0.625-mile short oval track featuring 14 degrees of banking in turns and three degrees of banking in straights.
The All-Star Race can be watched live on FS1, Peacock, and MRN. It will kick off on May 21 at 8 pm ET. All drivers across NASCAR's top-two national series will be racing for monetary incentives this weekend.
This year, the All-Star Open and All-Star Race in North Wilkesboro have a prize pool of $664,600 and $3,563,159, respectively. The Craftsman Truck Series will reward drivers with $696,922.
Motorsport journalist Bob Pockrass confirmed on Twitter the total prize money pool that is up for grabs in North Wilkesboro across the Cup Series and Truck Series. He wrote:

NASCAR Cup Series action in North Wilkesboro, North Carolina, will begin with practice at 4 pm ET on Friday, May 19. It will be followed by a qualifying (pit crew challenge) on the same day at 5:45 pm ET. Both the practice and pit crew challenge will be broadcast on FS1 and MRN.
Which NASCAR driver is the favorite to win the All-Star Race?
Heading to North Wilkesboro Speedway, Kyle Larson occupies the top position on the board as the favorite to win the All-Star Race. He has odds of +650 to win Sunday's race, according to DraftKings Nation.
Kevin Harvick and the defending Cup champion Joey Logano have the second-highest odds at +750, followed by Christopher Bell at +900, William Byron at +1000, Martin Truex Jr. at +1000, and Denny Hamlin at +1100 in the top-five highest odds.
They are followed by Ross Chastain (+1400), Chase Elliott (+1400), Kyle Busch (+1600), Ryan Blaney (+1800), and Tyler Reddick (+2500).
