NASCAR 2024: Full weekend schedule for the Enjoy Illinois 300 at World Wide Technology Raceway

The 2024 Enjoy Illinois 300 is set to take place on Sunday, June 2, at the World Wide Technology Raceway. The event will be telecast on FS1 and MRN at 3:30 pm ET. Located in Madison, Illinois, the race will be the 15th race of the 2024 NASCAR season and will see the Next Gen car in action for the third time since its debut.

The 1.25-mile paved oval motor racing track features 11 degrees of banking in turns 1 and 2, and 9 degrees in turns 3 and 4.

The World Wide Technology Raceway was first opened in 1997. It hosted its first NASCAR event with an Xfinity Series race at the track the same year. Elliott Sadler was the winner of the inaugural Xfinity race at the World Wide Technology Raceway.

It will be the third annual Enjoy Illinois 300 at World Wide Technology Raceway. Team Penske driver Joey Logano won the inaugural Enjoy Illinois 300 in 2022, the same year he won his second Cup championship.

The 37 drivers entering this week’s Cup Series race will compete across 240 laps in 300 miles. The Cup Series weekend will begin with a practice and qualifying session on Saturday (June 1), followed by the main event on Sunday.

Kyle Busch and Richard Childress Racing enter as the defending winners after securing a thrilling victory in last year’s Enjoy Illinois 300. The #8 RCR Chevrolet driver will look to defend his title this week.
