NASCAR 2024: Here’s what Friday’s schedule at Iowa Speedway looks like

The 2024 NASCAR Cup and Xfinity Series is scheduled to be held on the 0.875-mile short D-shaped oval track on Friday (June 14) as the action on the season’s 17th weekend kicks off at the Iowa Speedway.

The NASCAR Xfinity and Cup Series teams will take part in a 50-minute practice session on Friday. Xfinity will return for qualifying and the main race on Saturday.

The ARCA West teams will take part in practice and qualifying today and will conclude the day with the main event at 8 pm ET.

The weather forecast on Friday at Iowa predicted partly cloudy with a high temperature of 91 degrees and a 13% chance of rain at the start of the Cup Series practice race.
