NASCAR 2024: Here’s what Saturday’s Cup and Truck schedule at Richmond Raceway looks like

The 2024 NASCAR Cup Series and Truck Series are scheduled to be on the 0.75-mile short D-shaped oval track on Saturday, August 10. The NASCAR action returns at the Richmond Raceway after two weekends off due to the Olympic break.

The NASCAR Truck Series drivers will take part in a practice and qualifying session today before concluding the day with the 187.5-mile main event.

The NASCAR Cup Series drivers will also take part in practice and qualifying before hitting the track for Cook Out 400 on Sunday, August 11.

Chris Buescher and Carson Hocevar are the defending winners of the Cup and Truck events in the Richmond summer race, respectively.

The weather forecast on Saturday at Richmond predicts underground forecast calls with a high temperature of 80 degrees and a three percent chance of rain at the start of the Truck race.
